We visited on a Saturday night and had not booked a table. The pub was very busy and we were told that a table would not be available for approx 1 hour. We decided to wait and were very pleased we did as we were seated in around 30 minutes. The service was good and friendly if a little relaxed,... More

Visited a couple of times whilst in the area and food good. Not to pricey and meals quite plentiful. Staff were pleasant and friendly which always helps.

Only popped in for quick meal as wanted to have a drink so ruled the car out, didn't want to go anywhere too upmarket so dropped in to the smugglers as the only place we had seen nearby. The staff were really good, we hadn't booked and we had chosen quiz night so the place was busy, but they sorted... More

Only stopped for drinks but the place was a little tired. Stroppy barmaid and lots of plates etc piled up on the sides. Seems to be a locals pub.

Big garden with play area, nice outdoor seating area, veggie food options, chickens in the garden (yay)... we went here for a sunny pint with the dog and it was lovely... turned into two. Would love to come back here and give the food a try!

Called in here whilst on holiday for a few days for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Lovely building and surroundings. Service at the bar was good and prices were fair for the quality. The vegetable lasagne we had was full of flavour and the burger was cooked just right- not dried to the bone like many can be. Only... More

Ate/drank at this pub with my Husband first week of May whilst visiting the area. Lovely pub, friendly service, the fish & chips was delicious. Would certainly eat here again whenever we visit again.

Stopped in here with 3 young children. They loved playing in the outside play area and the food was excellent. Didn't have to wait long at all and food was top quality and at a reasonable price. Much better than the same pubs we usually visit so will definitely be coming back. Beach 2 minutes up the road which the... More
