Outstanding Roast, we visited last weekend for a family occasion. Never eaten here before, every aspect of the Sunday roast was outstanding. Not one thing I could have said they could improve. Already looking forward to returning!

Highly recommended. Great little pub with lovely Sunday roast. Thanks to John for being so welcoming and helpful. Can't praise him enough. Will be back soon.
Sunday lunch is the best from here. Always fresh and hot. I am local and have tried many places and this by far has to be the best, also great takeout service. Staff very welcoming and friendly too. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a...good Sunday lunch.More

This was my second great stay with friendly & helpful Landlords. Stylish newly-decorated en-suite room with tv, small fridge, microwave, toaster etc. Sunday lunches in the pub are legendary and worth booking. Lots of beautiful locations to visit nearby. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Not the best food not cooked too properly and I seen the chef pick her nose and and another customer shouted at my family as the waitress watchedMore
Oh my! Where do I start. Well 140 people ate dinner yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I think this review is because I refused to replace a meal for one of your party because after being fully booked, you chose to sit outside and a...More
Food average, atmosphere below average. Certainly not the best place I’ve been, but not the worst… just okMore
So you’ve joined tripadvisor just to give an o.k. Review. Funny how we’re not the best or the worst place you’ve been yet you’ve never bothered to write a review before? So, you’re review. Spelling and grammar o.k. Content a bit vanilla, a real strong...More

Had the Lamb roast Lunch today and it was delicious. 14 of us and service was great. We will be back.
Booked for a group of friends. The owners were very relaxed and although initially there were 20 of us booked, we were not asked for a deposit although we offered one. The lounge area is beautifully done out and very cosy. We were served very...quickly with drinks at the table and then ordered food. The whole atmosphere was relaxed, warm and friendly but this was surpassed by the absolutely delicious food. We had a choice of four meats, sauces were offered and there was more than enough vegetables. What particularly pleased me was that we were given mashed potatoes and roasts, whereas many places serving roast dinners offer plain and uninspiring boiled potatoes so this was a very welcome treat. I cannot fault this place for Sunday lunch and will be making regular bookings here in future. This place is a hidden gem, thank you!More
Pop in for a few beers . The pub was lovely and clean , the beer was excellent and the owner was very welcoming
Waited 35 mins for service. Food was ok but could have had been a bit more salt. Mayb better next timeMore
So sorry about your wait time. If you waited that long you’d have seen we were extremely, not just in the dining room but also take aways as we generally cater for about 130 on a Sunday. plus we’re training a new waitress. I would...More
Visited Pembroke Dock to see some friends. We used The Welshman’s as our local whilst we were there. We have done this for a number of years, but this year we found that the pub had new owners. What a difference, we always liked the...place, but it looks so much more inviting, and the welcome from the new owners was excellent. Normally my wife and I would find a table tucked up a corner and keep ourselves to ourselves, but this time we found ourselves sat at the bar chatting all the time we were there. I can only say thank you for making us feel so welcome. We would recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area.More
