Booked this little restaurant for a family Sunday lunch before the New Year.
The food was pretty good and the meat was tender. There was plenty of vegetables although I’m not a fan of tureens of vegetables served with a dinner. I would have liked to try their bar menu but we were booked in for Sunday Lunch which I’m not a massive fan of - not a criticism of the restaurant, just personal choice. Waiters and waitresses were efficient and polite.
The restaurant is not easily accessible for people with mobility issues as there are about 15 steps to the entrance. Nice location but the restaurant has a lot of glass and we found it cold in December. The decor is a little dated and it could do with a makeover.
The food wasn’t expensive and was good value for money to be honest. I would try it again, maybe not on a Sunday and not in the winter!

Myself along with 3 friends had a fabulous meal at the bar! A lovely menu to choose from and polite friendly staff.
As a vegetarian who is also a bit fussy i contacted them ahead of my visit and they accommodated me perfectly. I had a delicious vegetable curry with rice and naan bread. My friends meals looked delicious too and the chips were absolutely lush! We had a fab night out catching up and i look forward to returning again soon :)

Decided to pop in here after a walk round Neyland but hadn't booked, thankfully the guy behind the bar managed to squeeze us in before it got too busy!
Was so grateful they did as we had the best dinner from around here in a long time. Plus beautiful views of the marina were a bonus!
Couldn't fault the food, you could tell it was local good quality produce and the menu had so many things we wanted to try! Catered for a range of diets including vegan and veggie dishes and not a bad price for the quality food and service received.
Would highly recommend to anyone local looking for somewhere fresh and modern with a lively and inviting atmosphere or for tourists wanting to see what fabulous seafood the town has to offer 😍 thank you again for fitting us in!!

Having ate here at New Year I was determined that my family return with me, so our party included three adults and two young children. Tables were social distanced and staff were friendly and wore masks. The Government Eat Out Scheme was in operation when we visited. My daughter was determined to try lobster whilst in Pembrokeshire and this is definately the restaurant to try the sea food salad which was wonderful. Gammon and other salads were devoured and the children loved their scampi. The deserts of profiterols and creme brulee were shared and declared delicious. We were not rushed although we could here many telephone bookings having to be sadly rejected for this evening.

We visited The Bar when in Pembrokeshire for a week’s holiday a week ago having read the reviews on Trip advisor We were not disappointed. This was the best restaurant we had visited in Pembrokeshire and certainly one of the top restaurants we have every eaten at. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant we could see the tables were social distanced and staff were wearing masks this made us feel very safe and relaxed. We had a lovely table overlooking the marina. The staff were very friendly, and the food was exceptional with very generous portions and the prices were very reasonable. We had paid more at other restaurants and the quality was no where near what we had at The Bar. We just wish this restaurant was closer to where we live as a 3hr journey to get there is a little too far, but we will certainly visit again when next in the area. Thank you to The Bar for a very enjoyable evening and hopefully when we are all be back to normal again we will revisit.

Today we had THE best Sunday roast we've ever had in a restaurant !! ..
And we've tried many.
Great Service , Meals delivered quickly, So much food 😍
If your looking for a homecooked style roast , you will not be disappointed.
We can not wait to return..Our new favourite place to eat !!

There was to be seven of us, four adults and three children, however my daughter was I’ll so didn’t join us. Shown politely to our table and ordered drinks which was fine. Following delivery of drinks our food order was taken, again, no problem.
Both myself and my ten year old grandson ordered the mussels (strangely served with chorizo). I thought most people knew that as soon as the mussels open you remove them from the pan and serve them. These appeared to have been cooking for hours! They were leathery, tasteless and shrivelled and the chorizo infused sauce totally overpowering. My other grandson had children’s menu fish and chips which was good. The other three members of our party had various dishes all of which disappointed.
Finally, part way through the meal our granddaughter spotted some mints on the bar and asked the waitress if she could have one. What now, exclaimed the woman, as though the little girl had made the most inappropriate request she had ever heard!! A very, very big disappointment all round I’m afraid.

Lovely meal for the 4 of us. Brilliant attentive staff. BLT, Ham & Eggs and Scampi all went down a treat. Very kind gesture of allowing us to bring in a birthday cake and brought it out with a candle (well they couldn't have fit 70+ on it!!)
Will be back again!!

We hired this venue for a private function for 80 people . We couldn't have chosen a better place . The food was first class and delivered to the table hot and quick .The staff went out of their way to accommodate some peoples special requirements.
Nothing seemed to much or any trouble for the chefs and staff .We immediately booked it again for our next function

"Entering Neyland Bar amidst a light drizzle, we were quickly seated and served our drinks with efficiency. Overall made to feel very welcome
From our table, we admired the stunning views of the Yacht Haven and Cleddau Bridge. Our preordered dishes arrived promptly, presented beautifully and bursting with flavors, each portion perfectly sized. Despite a brief delay of approximately 5 to 10 minutes for one dish, the staff promptly apologized and ensured our satisfaction without disruption. The dessert offerings were enticing, and our orders promptly taken. Upon settling the bill, the staff graciously apologized once more for the delay and promptly removed its cost.
Overall, our experience at Neyland Bar left us thoroughly impressed by its welcoming atmosphere, captivating views, and delightful culinary offerings. We eagerly anticipate our next visit."

Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service. Would highly recommend. The steak was cooked to perfection, the onion rings were huge and the homemade chips were definitely a hit! My husband had the Cod and failed to eat it all, two massive bits of fish. He said it was so tasty.

Sunday lunch here as part of a few days trip to Pembrokeshire. One of the best Sunday lunches ever - the beef and lamb were given in generous amounts and were perfectly cooked. Served by Sarah who was friendly and efficient even to the point of helping to plan our itinerary for the rest of our stay in the area. Thank you also to Liam for accommodating us at such short request especially when the restaurant was so busy. A perfect way to spend some time in Neyland and watch the goings on in the marina.

Another first class visit to The Bar for lunch. Always great service, food freshly cooked to perfection, don't think there are better fish and chips to be had. Look forward to our next visit.

Had dinner here on a Friday night and it was the best meal I've had in a restaurant in Pembrokeshire by far. The staff were friendly and polite, the food came out promptly and was piping hot. Then the food....wow! Fantastic quality produce, perfectly seasoned, flavourful and plenty of it. The portion sizes were huge! I had crispy belly pork with creamy potatoes and onion rings in a peppercorn sauce. it was superb!
And all at a very reasonable price.
I'll will definitely be back to work my way through their delicious menu.

Amazing food. This time I had the fish n chips - Two pieces of well cooked fresh battered fish stacked on the plate. It was too tasty to leave any! Liam and his staff are always friendly - quick service- reasonable prices and lots of choice. Can't wait to go back.
