Chose Roc Salt as our tennerfest venue for a Friday night out with the girls. I arrived slightly early, was sat down but not offered anything to drink until the others had arrived. The food was average - mushrooms on toast was tasty but light...on the mushrooms. Rib-eye steak was nigh-on raw and very sinewy (supposed to be medium rare) and onion rings were just supermarket frozen ones. At least the company was awesome and we were having a good old catch-up. Well, that was until around 9.30, hen we were asked to pay our bill as they were closing up the till - then, at 9.50, we were informed that it was kicking out time...we hadn't finished our drinks and were nowhere near ready to head home. Really disappointed as it cut short a good night. Had we had any idea of the early closing, we'd have chosen somewhere else...who kicks out that early on a Friday, having accepted a booking for 7.45/8 pm??? And without even waiting for us to finish our drinks?More

The restaurant is just a few metres from the beach at Chouet Bay, Guernsey. We dined/lunched at Roc Salt a few times during our visit to Guernsey and thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine and ambiance, greatly appreciating the excellent service. Highly recommended.

Excellent steaks. Good if inexperienced service. Sadly very noisy in the evening due to poor acoustics. Would go again at lunchtime and hope to find it quieter.

Very good starters, reasonable prices and good atmosphere. Scallops were just sublime. The Cote De Boeuf was a little disappointing as it was a bit tough. Should have had the chateaubriand. Service was good. Lovely fresh prawns and crab on the bruschetta

Little Gem of a restaurant, very good quality food and friendly staff, I wish we had discovered it earlier in the holiday.

The food we had was delicious, but we had food envy at the table who ordered the seafood platter as it looked great! Wish we ordered that instead! Lovely decor, very pretty dining spot.

Stumbled across Roc Salt completely by accident. Had a great lunch. So good that we ate there again twice more that week. Smart building, really friendly and efficient staff and above all great food. We had seafood every time, that’s our favourite, but the steaks...looked good too. Great position too, just right for a walk on the beach after your meal, or before to work up an appetite.More

Gorgeous food - had the sharing steak with sides and everything was beautifully cooked. Waitress was lovely and super helpful

After seeing the reviews of how good this restaurant was, we had to visit and we were not disappointed! We had the Tennerfest menu and it was excellent! Lots of choice.. The food, service was excellent! We will not hesitate in coming back next time...we are in GuernseyMore

On a driving tour of the west coast, we stopped at Chouet to admire the view and saw the restaurant. We only wanted a main, before we headed for our boat home. The staff and setting were lovely and the food was excellent

Roc Salt is in a lovely beach location, with a relaxed and friendly ambiance. The menu has an appetising selection including plenty of seafood dishes as well as some Vegan options. Service was friendly and professional. We enjoyed all of our dishes and found the...prices quite reasonable. We’ll definitely be back soon.More
