We had a lovely family meal here celebrating two family birthdays. The staff were lovely and sorted out problems as soon as they arose. The food was great and reasonably priced. Will be returning

Stopped for lunch mid-bike ride - had food off the small plates menu. Steak pie was one of the best I've ever had, and with lovely roast spuds (my friend had the chips which he said were amazing). The meat was soooo tender and scrummy....More

We were in for dinner and intended to stay for entertainment. The owner came over and said we had half hour to vacate table. The pub was busy so the only seat was at the door so we left. Why were we not told this...More

Hi, I am the business owner and I definitely didn't ask anybody to leave a table on Saturday. Plus, our entertainment wasn't in the bar on Saturday. It was upstairs, so I can't think why you would have had to move tables. I've spoken to...More

The Prestoungrange Gothenburg was established in 1908 and still continues as a bar and restaurant to this date. There is also a microbrewery attached, which produces some of our own real ales served from casks. We have a varied menu that changes regularly as well as an excellent selection of beers, malt whisky and gin. Every Saturday night there is live music in the bar and on the first Sunday of each month we have an open folk music session. Light lunch options are available during the day. Our evening menu is varied and includes many dishes using locally sourced produce.
