We called in here visiting the amazing Glynllifon park. (Well.. was amazing but slowly the beautiful original architecture is getting ruined :( ) Sad to see it's demise. I'm always a little nervous about going somewhere new as seen as i have gluten and dairy food intolerances. It literally could not have been nicer. We were greeted by the most... More

A smashing little cafe which servers excellent coffee & freshly made bacon butties. The menu looked interesting & varied although we didn't try anything else. Lovely setting.

Do not go here if you are tired, cold and hungry. We went after a long walk...there was no heating and the portion of "home made" soup was meagre with sliced bread...we did not stay for coffee as we were so cold.

We arrived on a wet and windy day for a spot of lunch. We would normally head into Caernarfon or Bangor, as we live locally, but my wife insisted that she'd heated good things about the Black Cat. Menu selection was slightly odd and seemed lost in time! Lots of things also appeared to be out stock ( we arrived... More

Well what can I say Avery lovely jewel in glynllifons crown don't miss the chance to eat at this exquisite little cafe we went out for. Sunday lunch and was initially disappointed that they didn't offer this but believe me I wasn't disappointed for long my husband had the shepherds pie mash and beans and I had the hummus platter... Well we had a lovley visit to the cafe this week, the lady behind the counter was so helpful and went out her way to warm our babies food, and even gave our little one a few marshmallows. The cakes all looked beautiful, I had a cream tea, Which was presented beautifully. And my wife had Victoria sponge which was... More

Very disappointed , we ordered 2 cups of coffee , Barra Brith which was very dry and cut with a razor blade. I ordered a piece of Victoria sponge which was also very dry and poor and tasteless . Our visit was on a Monday afternoon and I wonder if these cakes were left over from the weekend. We visited... More

A lovely place for a slice of cake and warm drink. Husband also had a meal that he enjoyed here, especially the home made soup. Staff very friendly. Menu varied to suit all dietary needs. Would visit again.

Lovely setting with big potential!!! Odd menu that you wouldn't excpect from a cafe. £6.95 for a ham sandwich with a bit of leafs on the side!!!! Homecooked ham apparently, i doubt it very much, homecooked in a factory for processed meats more likely. Very slimy and full of fat. Ordered soup for my daughter who is 1, paid nearly... More
