1st time visit. Loved the food, we had the cheese and onion pie and the jalfrezi. Both were lovely home cooked meals. Jalfrezi had a good kick to it, with so much meat it probably could do 2 people. Well worth a visit.

Lovely pub, which serves both excellent food and real ales. Stunning views, friendly staff. Worth booking for food, as can get busy.

Sorry your visit was a disappointment. You didn't mention what you actually ate, so I'm unable to comment on that. As for the waitress, she only started working here a week ago, so she's learning the ropes still. I'll mention something to her. As your...More

Lovely views from the pub and beer garden. Great outside sunny space. Always a good choice of beers on. Would say the food and service is not as good as it was for some reason. Last time we visited a family at the next table...More

Thanks for writing Ian. Glad you enjoyed the views and our selection of real ales. As for the buttered bread, I can only apologise for that, if you would have mentioned it we would have replaced it happily.

We were just driving by about 3 weeks ago when we noticed the pub was closed and there was a notice on the door. So don't know whether it has closed.

Mostly a food place but I was just calling in as I passing by so ended up in the small bar area. Warm open fire was very welcome and the view from the food area looked great.
