Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The restaurant has a lovely view of the ocean. My husband and I both had the Welsh Cawl--the national dish of Wales. The soup was chunky and was served with a hunk of cheese and a crunchy roll with butter.

There is always a warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful!! Service at the bar and in the restaurant exemplary. On Easter Sunday evening there was a lovely mix of locals and holiday-makers...together enjoying the beer, food and musical entertainment. Excellent. Thank you.More

Excellent home cooked food - not your usual chain pub food. All the staff friendly and proper customer service- all backed up by a tremendous view from the dining room. Would definitely recommend

Delicious Sunday lunch, great roasts, generous portion and fab crackling. We have family members who can't eat wheat or dairy and they were great at catering for this too.

Went here for lunch, by chance, on a cold winter's day when everything else in the village was shuttered up. And what a lovely surprise! Good food, lovely people, amazing views across the sea. AND, the landlord VERY kindly gave my husband and I a...lift to the bus stop on the main road to save us the 5 mile walk back to our hotel. Now that's hospitality. A lucky find and I hope to be back. Diolch!More

We've been coming to Llangrannog for over 20 years. The Pentre Arm has one of the best views of any pub I have visited. The food is excellent, and the Sunday dinner is to die for. This is worth a visit just for the Sunday...dinner alone.More

Fantastic place. We’ve spent holidays in Llangrannog for quite a few years now and we love the Pentre Arms. We stopped off for a refreshment mid walk from Tresaith and then met the rest of our family for and evening meal, which happened to be...my dads birthday. Brilliant choice of food for all 9 of us, reasonably priced and super friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to seeing you next Oct!More

Steaks very good. So, why 3 stars? Well, for £28 for a sirloin steak I would expect better than it to be served with frozen chips, frozen peas and frozen onion rings. I have had the same quality steaks elsewhere for around the same price...but accompanied by real homemade fare not frozen. I would say a fair price would be more like £20 to £22 for this overall plate of food. Alcoholic drinks expensive too. It’s good, but not great based on the price, and interior (tired) decor.More

I am local to the area, went down llangrannog as it was sunny and popped in for a pint, asked for a guiness after she poured it said £6. Charging london prices is disgusting for the area. Just take some tins instead and enjoy on...the beach.More

We had a lovely meal - good food, beautifully cooked. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service which was not 'over the top'. Loved looking at the sea as we had the meal. Thanks to the Pentre Arms for an enjoyable evening.
