Visited around New Year and although most of the tables were pre-booked, the helpful staff squeezed us in. You can be sure of a warm welcome and the food is lovely - fish and chips recommended. We had our 2 dogs with us, one of which was just a puppy and the staff were brilliant. Thank you

I booked a table at The Ship for lunch on sunday 26 February. The Welsh performance against Scotland the previous day was so poor I almost decided to cancel my reservation. But it wasn't my fault for such a poor display so why should I punish myself, I arrived and was welcomed by a very friendly barman who seved me... More

We have visited Llangranog several times and have always had at least a drink in the The Ship. On our recent visit we choose to eat being won over by the special board and the Thursday night steak offer. This did not disappoint , we asked for our steaks to be cooked rare and they were cooked to perfection. Excellent... More

Had veggie food - goats cheese, squash and beetroot burger in brioche bun. It was a great idea, but tasted bland - half way through I tried it without the bun and I could actually taste the burger, which was then good. Unfortunately, the chips were burnt and the coleslaw was average. Despite it only being 9pm, none of the... More

We were there several times during our stay in Llangrannog. Each time we've had a lovely evening with wonderful food! The menue is quite short but there are daily recommendations. I enjoyed the homemade chili very much - but all dishes were really excellent!

We had lunch today and disappointed to find no fresh fish on the menu, so chose a prawn cocktail to start, but struggled to find a main course to suit. I noticed on the specials board that they had Welsh 'Cawl' which is a thin liquidy broth with potatoes, leek, carrot, swede and either lamb or ham (in this case... More

My girlfriend and I recently went to stay at Llais y Mor for the weekend and were introduced to The Ship by some friends who live nearby. Both of us were made to feel welcome straight away and thoroughly enjoyed are first night drinking Welsh ciders and getting to know some of the regulars!! We went back on both Saturday... More

Wandered in this restaurant on a quiet gloomy day after walking the coastal path. The food is so fab, the staff were friendly and kind. I had the Ham Cawl and it was so so excellent. The fish finger sandwich and leek and potato soup was had by members of our group and they gave rave reviews as well. 10/10... More

Had a top afternoon on New Year's Day for a few drinks after a long coastal walk. Friendly atmosphere and plenty of choice of beers and seating wasn't an issue for the 6 of us. Will return when back in the area

The ship pub is in a wonderful location in an idyllic seaside village and was given a facelift a year or so ago. Friendly service and a good range of beers and wines. Good pub grub - but you're more likely to want to come here for the setting rather than the food.

Thank yllaw
