We have been coming here since 2002 and have always been welcomed by the owner and his family. The food is good especially the garlic dip. Have recommended our friends to come here to. it is not a large dinning area so make sure you book as I have seen people being turned away. I have been travelling to many... More

Very popular restaurant. Menu is varied and service friendly and prompt. The chef is the owner and chats with customer as time permits. Food was fantastic

We went to celebrate our anniversary, were seated outside the op shop next door with the table on an extreme lean. The Shish Kebabs were tasteless and overcooked, they tasted like they had been re cooked. the bread was cold and dry almost stale. walked away feeling ripped off. and the review I put on their facebook was removed.

A lot of friends had been raving about this place, on our doorstep, and it's BYO so ticking a lot of boxes straight off the bat. Staff were excellent, and service was really good. Had lots and lots of food, massive portions, and with the boss being vegetarian, there was lots of options for her. It's probably a 7/10, better... More

Our dinner at the Prophet was our first Lebanese meal and the restaurant was very unassuming however the food was very tasty and we loved it.

When the time comes that you need to entertain a friend who needs a halal or kosher cuisine, look no further than The Prophet. It's a no frills eatery and the food is reliably authentic. Free Lebanese bread is supplied and it goes well with a dip based on smoked eggplant. The staff are most helpful. May I suggest you... More

We really wanted to like this place but wasn't too impressed. The baba ganoush was way too smokey. The spinach lady fingers sounded better than it tasted. One person liked the chicken livers. The chicken shish tawook was tasty and a decent portion. BYO which was a bonus.

We have been going to eat at this Lebanese cafe periodically over some time(years). Visited again on a recent mid week night. Nothing appears to have changed, a good thing. The menu, food & service remain very good, especially those home made Falafels, & the authentic flavours of the region. This busy little cafe, still only takes cash, and is... More
