Actually we were there last September... and will be back again next September. Perfect, small restaurant right across the sands from the beach. As always in Scilla freshest imaginable Swordfish and four other course of seafood surrounding it. All perfect. Not a fancy place, just perfectly good food and service in a beachfront setting.

I can't really understand the enthusiasm for this restaurant. It is pretty average. The seafood antipasti is good. However, the seafood linguine were average, without any specific taste. And the swordfish involtini were over cooked and with no taste. The service is friendly but rather slow.

Visited this restaurant at the end of a heavy day with my friends. Discovered again after many years the fantastic taste of spaghetti with the ink of the squid sauce. The local wine with no name was fantastic, the manager-owner and his sister brilliant, and the main dish of a steak of sword fish fantastic.

We had a nice meal with fresh and tasty seafood/pasta from the region. The waiter did not know a single word in English, but was energetic and charming. A good experience.

I had a memorable seafood meal at Da Pippo: a mixed seafood antipasto, steamed mussels with wine & garlic, and the very good house white wine. Da Pippo is right on the beach with lovely sea views. Good service and good prices.

We visited Scilla which was a lovely seaside town on the Calabrian coast and after spending a long time walking around and exploring we decided to have some lunch. The food at this restaurant was excellent as was the service. If you are in this area make sure you visit.

One of the few restaurants open in winter on the seaside of Scilla. Chosen by chance because it started raining, we found ourselves the only guests at luch. And obviously evrithing had to be prepared fres. Loveli linguine with mussels & vongole, risotto with "sea fruits: octopus, calamari, musselds, etc., grilled vegetables, fried calamari, a local red which was like... More

Pulled in to Scilla hungry and in the autumn, low expectations. Great suprise to be met with such enthusiasm and served an honest meal. Nothing fancy just great flavours....

We were on an exploration and found this lovely sea town. We decided to stop for lunch without any idea where we would eat or what we would have. Da Pippo had a lovely little porch out front with wonderful sea views as well as a cool interior with lots of room. As luck would have it, a table for... More

At Da Pippo you can have a very good dinner at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and polite. The pasta's were great. Definitely a good choice!
