We bought some vouchers from Itison for the Restaurant and had 4 portions of Fish and Chips with Mushy Peas in the upstairs Restaurant. The Fish and Chips were very good and were served with Heinz ketchup and Mayonnaise - couldn't be better !

Popped in for a bag of potato fritters last thing before they closed as we had recently had them and they were brilliant! Unfortunately not this time. Whomever was on the fryer was clearly keen to get closed as these were seriously undercooked and inedible. Tried to call to complain but since it was 9.05 I guess they were long... More

I went there yesterday with my wife and grandson as our kitchen is being replaced at home. We decided to eat in.........what a mistake! Should have known when we saw people sitting eating in outdoor coats....it was freezing. The kids menu is very misleading. It looks like 1 kids meal is free with at least 1 adult meal! Not the... I didn't visit the restaurant, just the takeaway but enjoyed my meal. I have to say, however, that nearly £10 is quite excessive for a fish supper with a portion of peas. Certainly it was a jumbo haddock and quite large, but still.......

We visited this restaurant recently when en route from a wonderful walk in Glenesk. The fare was simply excellent and the fish was cooked to perfection. and garnished with lovely crisp salad and chips. Price was very reasonable too and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Came here for chips to take away. Service was really slow, staff seemed unorganised. Not enough salt and vinegar. Chips were gritty and not enough sauce was put on it was very dry bun. Probably won't be back again.
