Excellent food. We had starters which was a mistake as they were pretty substantial. Main courses were equally large and some food was left uneaten. Really tasty. Friendly quick service. Definitely one to revisit.
Dinner out was a spur of the moment decision when we chose Redford Tandoori Restaurant. Husband wanted a curry and being new to the area was great to find this jewel only a 10 minute drive away from home .
On arrival the restaurant has...a great feel . Friendly and efficient from the off . Our meal was excellent, the best we’ve had in a very long time .
Could not fault the service in any way , made to feel very welcome .
No doubt about it will definitely be going back , thank you guys . Loved it !!More
For family occasions, we often come to Redfort and have either the Khurzi Lamb or Khurzi Chicken meal.
This occasion again was excellent. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel special. The staff are friendly, polite and genuinely happy to see you....We had the Khurzi Lamb this time, it was simply amazing. Everyone absolutely loved the food and that, combined with and the wonderful staff are the reason we keep coming back.
If you want to do something different, ring and make a booking for a Khurzi Lamb (they need advance notice, min 24hrs). You will not regret it.More
Having been lucky enough to have sampled Indian cuisine both throughout the UK and wider afield, I can happily say we are blessed to have Redfort on our doorstep.
The staff are genuinely happy to meet customers, nothing is too much and the food is...excellent.
if you really want to sample the best, then give them 24 hours notice and let them serve you their Khurzi Lamb or Chicken, you will never want to eat anywhere else again.
Mind you, the menu is full of great dishes and deciding whatMore
First let's get it out of the way that Southampton has the best curry house in the world. I don't live near there so I have to try other curries closer to me.
I went here yesterday to pick up takeaway. Nobody was social distancing....The place was packed and nobody was masking.
The waiter asked us if we had cash on us so he could give us a weird discount. We didn't so he changed us the real amount and gave us a free Coke and extra nan bread.
The curries were okay. Nothing special about them. Mediocre at best.More
