We are both vegetarians so to have 3-4 dishes to choose from was heaven. I chose the Goats cheese burger with chips and salad. My sister had the... More

Both my husband and I had the homemade soup which was okay but the artisan bread was par baked rolls - the lamb shank was tasty and the mustard mash was lovely - we were then told we could possibly squeeze in a dessert as the check finished as 9pm - my husband did enjoy his sticky toffee pudding made... We stayed for two nights. The staff were all very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The food was nice - especially the cheesecake!

There's a great atmosphere in the pub especially when the log fire is light. There a very nice beer garden. The food is over priced for pub standard dishes but the portions are generous.

Well it was well worth travelling from London to Innerleithen and staying at this amazing Hotel. Our room was outstandingly beautiful and clean. The food, I must say was amazing too. David and Jamie are great hosts, and certainly know how to entertain and make people welcome to their hotel. Thank you so much and I certainly recommend this place... More

Arrived on spec and accommodated in the dining room as the bar was a little bit noisy with 'long range' conversations. Fairly standard pub grub was well presented and the staff were friendly and efficient. Recommended and would visit again.

On a recent visit to Innerleithen we happened upon this hotel while out for a walk. First impression was of a quiet, perhaps quaint hotel. On enquiring about food we were advised that meals were being served and we were shown to the restaurant as the bar area was busy. The food was superb. Full of flavour with generous portion... More

... delicious, lovely lovely true to Scotland but with some exciting new twiats that dont detract from the essence of the dish. I tried Haggis here for the first time and fell in love with it.
