For already 64 years, Paquita & Lolita have been proving how you can cook all the catalan feedstock in such a unique way. Best tomatoes, onions, peas...fish...meat...canelons...whatever... I've been coming once a year and every time I feel the same, high quality, incredible food and as always very friendly staff. If you visit the Maresme area, it's a stop you... More

We have been here twice recently and have taken groups of friends both times. We love it here and will continue to make it our 'must go to' when we are in Caldes d'Estrac.

Beautiful restaurant with big parking. There are not many places in Arenys where you can enjoy spacious greatly-done interior and white table cloths, and great food. My only reason for 4 star instead of 5, is that in my opinion the chef doesn't take the salads seriously. There are only few salads available. The one I've got, Provençal I think,... More

We can definitely say that this restaurant is the worst one we have been to in our lives. Food is very very low quality. We ordered fried calmars and it was just not eatable. Paela is far from being good. We tried the restaurant next door the day after (porto veil) and it was just amazing.. The service in Hispania... More

This is one of the best places to dine in the region. Prices are high, which is the only downside to this restaurant. It's expensive! Easy to park. Service is good. Four stars because of the very high prices.

The conservatory on a sunny afternoon makes for a great location for a long lazy lunch. The waiting staff were all very knowledgeable and help enormously when ordering, they were spot on with their recommendations from specials to wine choice. A relaxing atmosphere and the food was above average although not exceptional so on balance was reasonable value

The only poor choice I made on our itinerary was to book ahead thinking it would be interesting to see something of the coast and eat at a fine restaurant. The restaurant has no sea view ... the wrong side of a major road .. very large and traditional, even stuffy. Madam was much in attendance. Compared with Caldeni and... More

Hispania is one of the best places in Catalonia because of the quality of the food, the place and the service. It's worth every euro you expense in this restaurant. Essential restaurant in Catalonia to understand catalan and mediterranean gastronomy. You won't regret to visit it.

Wemt there with some friends the other night. The service was impeccable and very professional/formal. The food was delicious. The entrees were prepared excellently. My lubina fish was prepared perfectly. Desserts were stellar. professional staff, great chef, wonderful ambience, and family tradtion. Expensive, but worth the splurge.
