Business meeting here over lunch. Old world style with great ambience. Friendly attentive staff and a decent choice of lunch options. Will return.

What a lovely Thai spiced Pumpkin Ravioli perfectly matched with the suggested Picpoul du Pinet. We will be back! My husband had the burger and loved it, Malbec for him. All well cooked and well received.
Thank you for your kind review, we are very proud of our wine list so it is great to hear that you enjoyed our selected wines alongside your meal.
Had a very good Sunday lunch here in the cosy bar area by a real fire. (There is also seating in a lounge area but being near the front door it can be draughty and feel a bit like a corridor unless you bag the...More
Thank you for your kind review, we are glad you enjoyed your visit to The Crown. Dogs are more than welcome in our business, we are all dog owners ourselves so if you look through into the restaurant reception you will generally see a dog...More
Half term visit to the wonderful castle with the grandchildren started with lunch at The Crown. Many tables booked, but the staff soon worked their magic and found a space. Within moments we received a bottle of table water and ordered drinks, lovely local Greene...More
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our business, it is great to hear that you enjoyed your time both in Framlingham ad at The Crown. I will pass your comments onto the team who looked after you.

The Crown is currently rated 8th out of 12 places to eat in Framlingham. With a good shake up and more attentive owners it could and should be much higher and maybe even no. 1. It has a lot going for it. It is in...More

Having visited the Castle on New years day apart from the Castle Pub (see my review on that ) this was the only establishment open. Nice light lunch, the main meals looked good too, 13 of us were seated on two separate tables quite a...More

Made an effort to come here with brother & partner (who live in London), to 'show off;' a traditional Suffolk market town and ancient hotel. Service was slow, but was busy, Christmas week. It was only just above freezing outside, there were a couple of...More
Thank you for your review, we did indeed have a couple of radiators in our restaurant that were not heating for a couple of days in December until we were able to get a plumber out to repair them. I am sorry that this impacted...More
Wood & beams a’plenty but lacks anything special when it comes to atmosphere. Quite noisy & packed in too. Food was average - risotto grainy, not creamy, missing deep flavour l& a bit light on quantity for the price. The roast pork, by comparison, was...More
