Excellent food, especially seafood for a (not cheap but very fair) price. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would absolutely go again!

We were unable to get a table on our first visit to this restaurant but we're glad we booked for a second try! The moules were excellent, large and tender. The restaurant appeared to appeal to both locals and tourists alike, buzzing place with very friendly service. The house white was an ideal accompaniment and reasonably priced. A great experience

We visited on a Saturday so we missed our Prix Fixe opportunity but even then we were really pleased with the amount and quality of the mussels and frites that we had for lunch. The waiters were all extremely friendly (without being in your face all the time) and the restaurant itself was nice and cosy. There is a huge... More

It doesn't take long to see why this place has so many high ratings. Excellent mussels, huge variety of choices and very good service - which stands out in Brussels..

After several disappointing meals near the main station i took a 5 minute taxi dire to this restaurant. It is excellent. The food is very good, the proprietaire is very friendly and runs an excellent establishment having an extremely friendly rapport with all the customers both regulars and newcomers alike. The speciality is mussels cooked in a very wide variety... More

Visited this small restaurant twice while in Brussels on business. I was greeted by a very friendly and attentive staff and although I had no reservation I was seated immediately both times. I went for the set menu of EUR30 which includes a starter, main and dessert of your choice-good value for money! The first time I went for the... More

Nice, cosy restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The food was delicious and they had a wide selection of mussels. We ordered the Chef's special and curry mussels, both of which were recommended to us. I wouldn't say they were the best mussels I've ever had, but they were definitely very good. The highlight, however, would be the service. We had... More

As we were coming to the end of our romantic visit to Paris/Brussels we decided to travel to Ixelles to visit some Belgian friends who we haven't seen in years. They took us to one of their favourite restaurants Le Chou de Bruxelles. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table. The interior décor of the restaurant... More
