Called in for lunch as one of the few pubs open on a winters Monday lunch able to take a pushchair. Attentive waitresses, well kept beer, good food. Perhaps a touch on the pricy side, but should be expected from a seafront venue. Will definitely...More

I lunched, with friends for a non-seasonal pre-christmas meal, the food was OK but expensive. Some nice local ales. I shall return to sample some of the products of the Leigh-on-Sea Brewery in due course.

Good was pretty average which was a bit of disappointment, the prawn cocktail had tiny prawns which seemed like they the frozen ones.. was expecting something better as the restaurant is next to the sea. Service was okay

We enjoyed Christmas Day lunch for the second year running at the Peterboat. There’s a good ambience with chatter from the bar but it wasn’t too loud or anything. Probably because we were seated adjacent the street so a little way from the bar. Food...More
