What a shame to not make it hat-trick, but I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed the last two years' events.

I have been on a lot of cookery lessons and this was the most expensive and involved the least hands-on element. The tutor was excellent but talked none stop for more than 7 hours while we sat and listened and did very little ourselves. If...More

Hi Vaughan, thank you for taking the time to pass on your feedback. I'm really sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the course; I have spoken to Steve who lead the session and he was disappointed to read it as well. On this course...More

Both myself and my wife thoroughly enjoyed this weekend at River Cottage. The course covered lots of things where tuition was given and then you got to try for yourself and then sample the fruits of your labour. The course covered knife skills, filleting fish...More

I enjoyed the overall experience, the tractor, although a bit of a time consuming gimmick, you could easily walk, the yurt, which I liked, but not very generous with the canopies, tasted okay, then time to walk with nowhere to walk in the dark. Spoke...More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience. One of the reasons we transport guests down on the tractor and trailer is that it's the safest way down to the farm, but understand that it's not the speediest methods of...More

I always use a light vegetable oil generally and a good quality olive oil occasionally. Tried rapeseed oil but not over keen on the flavour.
