I stopped here on my way through and was very happily surprised at the delicious range of food, especially gluten free food on offer. The staff were friendly and very helpful and the cafe has a great atmosphere. Will make this a regular stop off now.

We thought we would give this place another chance after horrible service last time, foolishly...... service hasn't changed. Walked in and it is busy with 4 tables for Mother's Day, there is an empty table with 2 seats, we are a family of 4 so asked the waitress if there were 2 chairs we could use, she rolled her eyes... We were disappointed this time. Good service and the coffee was ok. The food was average, over poached eggs on the benny and hardly any hollandaise (it's all about the hollandaise!) The burger was very sweet and the tiny bun wasn't toasted so more like a weird sandwich. Kids meal at $7 with pancakes and a fluffy was pretty good... More

Great range of tasty food and a good setting. Have been here a number of times when passing through. Prices are fairly steep but that is pretty much the norm now in places like Taihape

Stopped in on a Saturday with the husband and kids. Great venue very rustic, great outside area. Cabinet food looked good but was soo expensive, my son had a chicken croissant that contained 2 very thin slices of chicken, a dollop of cranberry and a slither of cheese, served with dry undressed salad that was lettuce and a price of... We just had a quick stop in for coffee on our way through but this place was so cute! The food looked delicious we got a date scone, best I have had in NZ. Perfect coffee and the hot chocolate was just right. What made it was the most friendly front staff she was delightful.

Not the best cafe, the service was sloppy and the food microwaved but they had nice baked goods and a nice seating area outside. I would recommend the chilled juices.

I really enjoyed Paleo breakfast that is served in the cafe. Overall - nice place, good service, food is good but not outstanding.

I chose the lamb mint pie with mint jelly, which is tender and delicious, and accompanied it with beetroot, carrot and ginger salad. Stunning! The staff are very friendly and on a sunny day the outdoor area is lovely.

Mainly sorry to see that this is pricing itself out of the stopover market. The food is attractive and appealing in cabinet and menu...but to give an example two fairly basic corn fritters with generic chili sauce and a scrappy salad does not warrant a $16 price tag...several good Auckland cafes are nearer half that...And the staff are, sorry to...
