Heard a lot of good things about this place from friends who live local, and it didn’t disappoint. The decor is classy, the piano music relaxing and the food is delicious. The meat practically fell off the rib and the beef in black bean sauce...More
Had a fabulous evening! Food and service great as always (we are regulars). Lion dance was good and loved the martial arts display with a bit of history about the different weapons. Looking forward to next year!
We were given a very warm welcome as usual. Our drinks were served quite quickly and we relaxed for a while after placing our order. The evenings special. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. After demolition the crispy duck e sat...More
We've been visiting Mr Chow's since the 1980s - what a fine example of what can be done to elevate the 'humble' Asian meal. There are very attentive waiters, reasonable prices and the food is sumptuous. And just look out the windows at the view!
We were fortunate to be able to be at Chows for Chinese New Year (CNY) last week. The food, service and entertainment were excellent as we would expect. I wouldn't have written another review but I was sorry to see the negative comment on the...More

We had a lovely experience at mr chows. The food was lovely, couldn't fault the service and the Chinese lions and martial arts shows were amazing! Overall great experience. We sat right at the front and felt safe the whole time.
We spent a wonderful late afternoon with our family for the second time in three years for the Chinese New Year. Food and service as usual first class, entertainment/Dragon display very entertaining.
Due diligence meant we kept our 2 year old in close control during...More

I have always had a very helpful and friendly experience at Chow's. Their food is some of the best Chinese food I have eaten in UK and they have earned respect and loyalty for the quality and value. As a customer, they have responded well to requests for group bookings, the needs of a less mobile guest not negotiate stairs and even to slight changes in menu choices.
Like all restaurants, I feel It is entirely a matter for them to set the times that trigger discounts and those that do not.
You missed a culinary treat, in my view but I hope you had good food where you finally ate.
