Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

11 April 2024 We book accommodation in Nov 23 for April 2024. The Jubillee Inn is closed and has been for some period of time. The locals informed us that the lease with the landlord was not renewed. Bottom line is you cannot drink, eat...or stay at the Jubilee Inn which is near Looe in the UKMore

Warm welcome, Great craic. Great to have a drink and a laugh with the locals at the bar. Donna was an excellent host. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed but we survived on burts crisps

Great Sunday lunch. Really good quality and value. Service was great and they did their best to accommodate us when it was busy despite not booking a table.

We booked a table for lunch. The service was very poor. Despite booking a table and there being very few people in there we sat waiting for 30mins waiting for someone to bring us a menu or take a drinks order. We enquired at the...bar twice and still no one came. We left without bring served in the end. Very poor service. Would not recommendMore

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst attending my Uncle’s funeral. Lovely quirky pub and food in the restaurant was lovely. Accommodation was very tired. Carpet in the hall was awful. Had to put a towel up at the bathroom window as there was...a massive gap and we overlooked the car park. Believe me, people do not want to see me naked in the shower!!! Breakfast was pathetic and didn’t even bother the second day. ‘Continental breakfast’ was stale bread for toast, tiny danishes and small packets of cereal! Would definitely recommend the pub for drinks and food, as a lovely atmosphere, but not the room so much!More

We visited a couple of times this week on our annual trip to Looe. We had such a lovely Sunday roast on a previous visit that we booked again and was not disappointed. The food is excellent. We had beef and lamb roasts which were...absolutely delicious and plentiful. The service was outstanding. The young male who was serving was extremely attentive and efficient. A pleasant experience in a lovely, traditional pub. We always look forward to returning when we're here.More

We have eaten and stayed here previously - we now live a few miles away and keep being drawn back to this pub. It is we find comfortable for us . We first came here about 25 years ago and although things do change it...is now we find probably better than ever.More

What a lovely pub! I wish that we had found this place in the summer whilst holidaying in August. We visited on Sunday 5th November to be met and welcomed with our dog. What a lovely welcoming pub and even better Sunday lunch!! Best Sunday...Lunch I have had in a long time, I rarely leave feedback but felt it necessary due to how exceptional this place is. A gem of a place. Thank you.More

We have stayed at this inn and also eaten here on a number of occasions. It is a very comfortable pub we find. We have never had any meal that disappointed us. We will return we hope many more times. It is not easy to...repeatably produce a good atmosphere and good food, the people here have achieved just that for us. Keep doing what you are doing.More

Please do NOT stay here as the place is horrendous! Public areas were filthy, bedrooms were never cleaned or replenished during our stay. Breakfast was adequate but chose to eat elsewhere in the evening! Complained on our return home but our concerns were dismissed by...management!More

Amazing dining experience. We have a few allergies between us and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were all catered for and even annotated a menu for us for clarity. Was a great choice for us (dairy, egg and peanut free)...including for children. Food was also really good with big portions. Highly recommend!More

We were visiting family in Looe and came across this pub/restaurant. There was ample parking and the restaurant was able to seat eight of us very comfortably. Lovely choice of food and the children in our party were served first. The food portions were very...good and delicious. The young lady serving us worked really hard and was not fazed by our large order - she appeared to be the only member of staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank youMore

Just wanted to congratulate you all on your fantastic establishment. Myself and my two daughters had food there tonight. We are on holiday from Wales and staying in Killigarth holiday park. We had noticed the sign for your restaurant when driving past and after looking...up your menu decided to book a meal for Thurs 5th Oct. We were impressed by the look of your restaurant pub and received excellent service from both the gentleman who seemed to be in charge and also the ladies serving. The food was absolutely gorgeous or as we would say in Swansea, it was lush. We would like to say a big thank you to all your team. Everything was perfect. I would recommend anybody to visit you there. XxMore
