So rare: Speciality breads, delicious cakes and good coffee from a family bakery in a beautiful Cotswold market town. A welcome change from mass produced fast rise breads which are harmful to the digestive system

Very good bread and rolls worth the price as the quality is so far above what you get in the supermarket. The cakes are not particularly exciting and the prices for tiny portions are extortionate so only go there if you really can't live without...More

I went on a baking experience day in September last year. I should say that it was a session for winners of a baking competition so I don't know how it compares to a "standard" day of learning to bake with them. I can definitely...More

This Bakery is very 'of the moment' and the coffee is great but for me that is where it ends. I fail to understand why the bakery does not cover up their produce which is on display at the front of the counter. I am...More

Love home made bread , was expecting the loaf I bought at a whopping £2 for a small loaf to be like home made and it wasn't , only one up from commercially made bread , would have liked to try scones but they didn't...More

Called in here for an early breakfast. There were five of us and we were all very impressed with the quality of the food, lovely bacon, sausage, eggs however you want them cooked and the best bread we've ever had. Absolutely lovely.

Amazing choice of breads, sandwiches and cakes, all hand made on the premises. They also do bakery workshops.

Just needed a loaf to top up the cupboard. Spotted the attraction frontage and popped in instead of calling at the supermarket. GREAT MOVE! Good selection of lovely fresh baked goods on offer. Came out with an armful! Cold fresh healthy snacks and drinks also...More

Description
This is the house where it all started. The original bakery at the back of the shop is where our irresistible confectionery is now carefully crafted and created. It is here, half way up the high street and next to our butchery shop, that you'll find the most extensive selection of our handmade real bread. Upstairs you'll find our Hobbs House School, the home of real food learning. Beyond our shop counter, you can take a seat and a break from shopping and savour our delicious cakes, carefully sourced teas and coffees, enjoy a delicious lunch and, in the summer months, sit in our gorgeous tranquil garden.
