The food and the welcome at the Cookson spice is excellent. We are a group of friends who love curries and all Indian food. The staff are knowledgeable and will tailor the recipe to suit your taste

Visited here on Easter Sunday with my husband and two other couples. I ordered chicken pakora and was highly disappointed the filling was very dry and powdery with very little chicken most defiantly won’t be going back in a hurry

An unusual location (in a housing estate) for a restaurant of such high quality food. The menu was an education with full explanation plus colour-coded indication of mild, hot, very hot food. However, one disappointment was the very slow service as we had over one...More

One of our favourite Indian restaurants by far. Ordered a meal to takeaway last night and it was just as good as sitting in. Fabulous service and food once again.

I personally haven't seen one but you appear to be in Chester Le Street so pick one up in passing or ask them to post one. I'm sure they'd oblige. I've never had the experience of the person claiming food poisoning and they... More
