About
The Barley Mow is a lively and eccentric Free House located in the beautiful village of Bonsall. Famous for the 'World Championship Hen Races', and for being the most likely place to be abducted by aliens according to UFO magazine ! Locally sourced meat from award winning Maycock’s of Holloway, great real ale & one of the best live music venues in the area.. and the entertainment is free! We also brew our own real ales - the Chickenfoot Brewery is situated in our car park. We pride ourselves on a warm welcome... everyone is welcome here... we love children and babies... and well behaved dogs are also very welcome. Come and see why it’s the best pub in the world..and please book if you can :)

We are regular visitors when walking in this area and the Barley Mow never disappoints whatever the time of day. Excellent beer, great food with generous portion sizes, cosy log burner and very welcoming landlady. A little gem of a place.

A large group of us went to this pub in the middle of a walk for lunch. We must have taken over half of the pub but found the landlord to be very welcoming. The food and drink selection excellent and very well cooked.

There can be few institutions that have changed as much over the last 40 years as the Public House. Many went out of business and the ones that survived adapted and became something quite different. I remember in the 1970's calling in at the local...More

I don't know the answer to that, I'd say give them call. Collette and Mike seem happy to accommodate wherever possible.
