This is the second time we have visited Deblyns in December for a delicious (+ filing!) Vintage Christmas Afternoon Tea, and we were not disappointed. A varied selection of sandwiches and cakes were available, and the delicious warm scones were served with mincemeat, rather than...jam, and individual tubs of clotted cream. There were as many refills of tea and milk as we required. And we were each provided with a Cracker to add to the fun The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. There was no problem when we asked to take home the food we couldn't finish. The Tea Shop was warm and cosy, and attractively decorated for the Festive Season. Highly, highly recommended. Will return to sit in the gorgeous garden asap.More

This tea room was surprising; the menu had many options of sandwiches, hot & cold, lunch time meals & home made cakes. It’s nicely decorated, tables laid nicely & staff were great & friendly. We ordered 2 sandwiches, served with salad & crisps. Lovely fresh...bread and tasty filling. Coffees were good. Cash only was the only issue, otherwise we would have had a scone & cake too. Will definitely visit again!More

Wonderful little gem of a find on the High Street. I visited with my sister and my two year old daughter. We had a spacious table in the rear courtyard and my daughter loved the decor! (Ladybirds, bees and rabbits.) We had a delicious lunch...of sandwiches, salad and crisps, plus a cheeky milkshake! All honestly priced, but remember to take cash!More

So lovely to see little teashops such as this still around. Very welcoming service, lovely lunch. The cakes looked amazing but sadly no room to try following a lovely panini so will have to return to sample!

Called in while nearby after reading reviews. Arrived at 14:15 the teashop was not very busy were offered to eat in or out in the garden we opted for the garden. After looking at the menu we picked the Afternoon Tea for Two which consisted...of two rounds of delicious sandwiches, two freshly made fruit scones with jam and clotted cream and we decided on Red Velvet cake. All served on a three-tier cake stand with a large pot of tea. It was fantastic and filling attentive server and no rushing to get the table for the next customer. Would highly recommend you visit if your in the area and I know we will. Thank youMore

Whenever we are in the area, this is a must visit. On this occasion we sat in their lovely garden with our dog . The service was excellent as always. We chose the Deblyn's Vintage afternoon tea for two. You choose the sandwiches you would...like and also the cake. There is also a choice of which tea or coffee you would like. Everything was perfect as always. Thank you for this consistency.More

A treat at Deblyns was the reward after a walk from Dymchurch! On the walk I wondered if there would be a Savoury Tea on the menu! I wasn’t disappointed delicious freshly made cheese scone, with chutney, butter and tea. We also ordered a Vintage...afternoon tea, which was 1st class, including a sandwich with a filling from the menu, a freshly made fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, and a slice of homemade cake, and of course a pot of loose leaf tea. The scones , both fruit and cheese were the best we had eaten since before lockdown!More

We visited today after our camp site did not do cream tea and so glad we did, outstanding the scones were so fresh and the cakes was baked this morning. The staff helped adapt the afternoon tea for the children with milkshakes and came to...make sure they was allowed a chocolate discretely before popping the chocolates on the cake stands. The garden was absolutely beautiful too even on a cloudy day thank you If your in the area I would definitely recommendMore
