I cannot thank The Halfway House enough for providing a lovely Sunday lunch and meeting place for my family to meet in order to celebrate two birthdays. There were 21 of us to accommodate (from Wales, Bucks and Surrey) which didn't seem any trouble to the staff despite us taking over half the dining area! The food was excellent, well... More
We had one of the best roasts here. The beef and pork roast was cooked almost to perfection. The staff was very friendly. Also we loved the Broccoli done with cheese and honey cabbage. Overall very happy with the food and service

Well worth a visit - we had lunch & the food was superb. The stuffed sourdough was a great starter & the buttermilk chicken & smoked salads were excellent. Staff were really friendly.
Thank you for your review! The stuffed sourdough is a new addition to our summer menu, so we are glad it was a hit! Hope to see you on your next visit. Tania & Lauren More
We had a lovely meal at the Halfway House. The burger and chicken cooked on buttermilk were both delicious, the wine was lovely and the service was friendly. Lovely country pub!

We reserved a table easily and when arrived had a lovely chat with Tania, the owner! Our food was delicious and the staff is exceptionally friendly! The cream of chicken and garlic soup with a soft roll was amazing and perfect after a chilly day!l
