The dinner was really excellent .... you dont believe it when entering the restaurant. It's a little bit old style. The service was good ...ok, but the room could be more "excellent" (do you like to hear the dish washing mashine whilst an excellent dinner?) . What a great cook must be in this kitchen :-)

We went with high expectations to our first visit of Stria and i must confess that i had expected something more than a creative menu. The dishes we tried where beautifully arranged but what i was missing was a surprise in taste. Stria is a beautiful elegant restaurant with a very diverse menu that is high class and balanced and... This place is not particularly cheap - although, being in Italy (albeit the Sud Tirol/Alto Adige) , it is not desperately expensive. Excellent cuisine, with some international aspects. Take a glass at a time and sample their selection of more or less local wine.

The risotto was great, cute place, but the dishes came very late. The food was expensive but the taste worse it.

The restaurant tries to be a gourmet place but only gets half way. The service is good enough and the presentation of the dishes is nice, but the taste does not justify the price.

This is an expensive restaurant, but the food was amazing. I had a Deer steak. The meat was great. My spouse had home made pasta which was also very good

Really amazing service and food here, local specialities and great wine. This was the only place open in May 2016 so we ate her a few times and were super impressed with the amazing food each time :)

If you want to try something different in Colfosco (than the traditional alpine food) Stria is the choice. We had dinner on Easter Day, and I had an amazing fresh tuna cooked perfectly. I never thought I could find such a good quality of fish in a mountain place like that. Prices are definitely higher than the rest of the... More

We were very happy with our Stria experience. The service was excellent, the food was on the excellent side of good, and we all left with a smile. Whilst nothing on the menu surprised us (good surprise = 5*) there was no doubt that this is a cut above usual resort restaurants. Don't be misled by rankings, we would put... More
