For starters, we had ameijoas and salada de polvo, well prepared. Then we had grilled dourada and peixe-espada, the fish was of very good quality and nicely grilled. Waiters were attentive. All in all, I think it is probably the best place in Vila do Bispo for grilled fish. Do not expect local prices, we found it a bit overpriced.

What makes a good restaurant is superb food, spectacular service and reasonable prices. This restaurant has all three. The food was outstanding. I went with the waiter's suggestions and was not disappointed. The shrimp was tasty! It was nice to find a restaurant with more locals than tourists. Get there early. Others had to wait. And if you do wait,... More

For anyone who is seriously into sea-food - and by that I mean serious sea-food, like perceves, barnacles, clams and razor-clams - this is the place to go in western Algarve. You can't book, so you need to get there early, for lunch as well as supper in the high season. The shell-fish and fish are displayed in a chiller... More

We cycled through and Ribeira do Poco immediately caught our attention as a friendly place for a bite to eat. We ordered the fish soup and octopus salad, with wine. The staff were very attentive, friendly and went beyond our requirements. It's a special spot and well priced. Thank you for having us.

We liked this restaurant a lot. We almost didn't get in; good thing only two of us. The dessert was a little ordinary and not very Portuguese (chocolate mousse with an OREO cookie on it), but everything else was great. We started with the octopus salad--all octopus, onion, herbs, and very good. Then we shared a large grilled sea bass,... More
