Food is wonderful, hearty and hot. Chips I believe are triple cooked. Haddock is fresh, firm and yummy.

All good, friendly staff, decent food, good range of beers. Tried this place after seeing very positive reviews- it's good, and we are lucky in Southwell and the surrounding villages to have a wide range of good pub restaurants to choose from
Went late on Sunday. Still got a lovely roast (although they'd run out of a couple of things). Beer is good. Service is friendly. Nice garden that welcomes dogs.
