Great food and the friendliest staff, you must visit this cafe. The location is wonderful too. The cream teas were also loved by the rest of our party.
We went in the afternoon for a light bite.
My husband had the teacake which came with pre-wrapped butter pats- there wasn't enough for him...he likes a lot of butter. My daughter had the kids beans on toast and I had the cream tea (£6.95)...More

Visiting the nearby Japanese Garden we first stopped for a light lunch. Fresh bread and homemade soup with coffee and cake to follow. Quirky decor and lovely little garden alive with colourful plants.

Very nice village with the added bounce of a lovely tea room with fantastic cream tea with lovely warm scones and a nice big pot of hot tea

we had a lunch stop here while in the area what a lovely spot! Homemade soup was wonderful, the cream tea was lovely and the garden & tea room were so beautifully kept .

Found this little gem by accident. Passing through this tiny village on our way to somewhere else. The tea rooms is a lovely hideaway, dogs are welcome and the menu is surprisingly varied. Service was great, and the staff were lovely. We had delicious coffee...More

Varied menu for lunch or afternoon tea. If you order a sandwich, be warned, it comes with a huge side salad, home made crisps, and home made chutney - which you can buy in the shop. Excellent value. Cakes are also home made, also excellent....More
