Beautiful setting overlooking the harbour and nice menu however the prices charged for what you got is excessive. Don't get me wrong the food was good but similar food is available less than 50 metres away 30% cheaper. Staff were efficient but unfriendly and we certainly would not go back.

Had a lovely meal here last night, I booked it a few days early due to the amount of people queueing up at restaurants. I ordered mini bruschetta for starters, both ladies had the rolled chicken with tagliatelle and I had the salmon with tagliatelle. All the meals were very good and tasty. We also had a nice bottle of wine and the atmosphere was good, when I asked for the bill it said we had had bread and butter, beers which we hadn’t had, I pointed this out straight away to the waitress and she said sorry I have given you the wrong bill, very quickly. Just check. Enjoy

We had a snack here at lunchtime, liked the location and the look of the menu so decided to return for dinner. Big mistake. They can maybe cope if the restaurant is half full but not when all the tables are on. The excuse given was there were new staff in the kitchen. The waiting staff were working their socks off but the kitchen wasn’t fulfilling the food in the right order. Numerous tables were served while others were left waiting although they had ordered before them. The starters were good and only took about 30 minutes to arrive. Thank goodness we ordered starters. An hour after we had ordered we began to question when dinner was coming. They kept saying it was almost ready. It finally arrived an hour and a half after we had ordered. The chicken Caesar salad was about half the size of the one I had the previous evening and was more expensive. When the Maitre ‘d asked if we were happy my husband pointed out that we were served long after other tables that arrived after us and he was disappointed with his salad. To be fair she didn’t charge us for the salad but her comment ‘you expect to be served in 5 minutes’ was a bit rich. We won’t be back.

Im not going to lie - this was one of my favorite restaurants in my life. I highly recommending the spaghetti bolognese with some parmesan cheese. The waiters and the waitress was really nice to us. They made the food REALLY fast, my spaghetti bolognese took about 5 minutes to make.

Went here for some lunch as looked nice. We were greeted by an extremely rude waiter (blonde female). She was constantly rude the entire time we were there and gave dirty looks to myself and my mom. There were two other waiters a male and female who we spoke to briefly but were also rude to us. Noticed other customers getting frustrated by the staffs attitude, with some customers leaving before even ordering. Food was over priced for what was served and the food itself was served borderline cold. Wouldn't recommend unless you are willing to pay expensive prices for cold food and rude customer service

This is a pearl in a picturesque harbor! We go here every January when we spend our holiday another place on the island. It’s so worth the travel. The location of this restaurant is perfect - and the food is great after an international standard (very different from the beach restaurants you find so many other places in GC.) We had such a great night with good wine, good food, perfect location, nice weather and friendly waiters. I would like to recommend this restaurant to every Norwegian visiting🤩 You may for example try the chicken baked in bacon with the tagliatelle in a perfect creamy sauce. (It may sound traditional, but it’s lovely!!)

Called in this evening to book a table for tomorrow night, female waitress took details then said that we would have 30 minutes to eat the meal! When I questioned this, she stated staff shortages. Shocked I left without booking. A large party seated then spoke to me & said “I wouldn’t bother, the service is awful, we are waiting on our food. Only one person has got theirs.

We popped in here for dinner .. very friendly waitress … but service was not good .. quite slow .. she seemed to have too many tables to cover … we asked for bread from a colleague of hers .. but it never arrived … I had the tomato soup to start and it was very good … We both had the stuffed rolled chicken with lasagne for the main course .. the stuffed chicken was very nice and flavoursome , but the lasagne was smothered in garlic and almost inedible . The main course took … 40 minutes from order to delivery … there was no apology for the lasagne problem . One of us had one of the cakes for dessert .. but the cakes available are not shown on the menu … and you only hear about them if you ask … which seems odd to say the least . I had the crepes with strawberries ( fresh ) and cherries ( stewed .. but nice ) … and lemon ice cream .. all of which was very good . The bill with a bottle of marquis de fiscal - Sav Blanc came to c €85 . Portion size of mains , delay of 40 mins order to delivery , and the extraordinary amount of garlic on the lasagne … really took from what could have been a really nice experience . We felt sorry for the waitress who was great … but had just too many tables to serve . All of these problems are easily solved by good management .. and we hope this review leads to that being done . The location attached to the hotel at the end of the port , facing the marina is an excellent setting … last nights dining and service experience just did not match the location N+ A .. ireland

Nice location, but poor food. We had shrimps as a starter which were not cleaned properly. As a main course we had the tenderloin black agnus steak and entrecote. Black angus steak was well done although we ordered medium. The entrecote was way under cooked. Ordered medium-rare but was not cooked at all on one side and also not warm on the inside. There are many many restaurants in puerto de mogan where you can eat much better food for less!

We loved this restaurant and had a great meal here during our last visit to Mogan. We arrived at around 5pm with our almost 2 year old for a quick early evening dinner. The waiting staff were awful, they made it clear that they didn’t want a family there with a high chair/baby chair (despite having several of them). The waiter complained about everything we did trying to seat ourselves at a table and felt it was ok to force our daughter to sit in direct sunlight and asked us to change tables twice. He was rude and made us feel so unwelcome that we left. Why a less than half full restaurant doesn’t want a family to come in and spend €100+ and leave in an hour I just don’t know. We went to La Taberna close by who could not have been more welcoming and had amazing food.

Went here as 2 x couples, lovely ambience & fantastic location next to the marina. Wife & I had fillet steak with peppercorn sauce, it was one of the best steaks we've ever had, so succulent & juicy & perfectly cooked. It was a bit pricey but defo worth it. If u get a chance 2 go here don't think you'd be disappointed. Little Venice the area is called due to the canals & numerous restaurants about the marina, beautiful bougainvillea bushes of all colours growing everywhere.

With its south west facing position on the Marina the Cafe de Mogan catches the full afternoon sun and is a great spot to take in a late afternoon beer or cocktail, especially if you can get one of the edge tables with their views over the water. We decided to eat here one evening as well and thought the food was good, especially the curried prawns dish I went for. We did experience the service levels suffering a bit when the restaurant became full. This didn’t bother us too much, especially during the afternoon chillax times when as long as they served me a beer at some point I was happy. However if you are annoyed by intermittent service levels then I would recommend eating here before or after the 8pm evening rush that seems to happen around the Marina restaurants.

Had dinner here and was expecting great quality due to reviews and seeing how busy it was over few days. Boy was i disappointed. While the staff were excellent the food was almost inedible. Tasteless prawn soup made with coconut milk and the advertised lamb ribs turned out to be cold, fatty gigot chops with cold soggy roast potatoes. This is a high turnover restaurant so you get the push shortly after you’ve eaten. Don’t bother. Walk away. It’s dreadful.

We are here again today in beautiful Puerto de Mogan after visiting this restaurant last year primarily as their ice cream sundae deserts are amazing! We were greeted (badly) by a young g lady who then took 20 mins to even come over to us to take any kind of order! The drinks and food did arrive relatively quickly but then we asked for the desert menu which was pretty much chucked at us. We were then ignored by BOTH waitresses. I beckoned our waitress 3 TIMES she acknowledged then continued to ignore us! We ended up having to walk to one of the waitresses just to pay!!!! We should have just walked out it was DISGUSTING service. We paid absolutely zero tip and walked out. It’s a shame as the restaurant is pretty on the marina and food tastey just terrible staff! The young waitress should be sacked and not allowed to serve public.. a smile wouldn’t have amiss either!! Sadly we won’t visit this restaurant again.

The food was good but the service was poor. We have eaten here several times in the past eight visits and I was reminded after five minutes non-service why it wasn't on our list of automatic returns. The waiter was fine but a waitress brought us our main course and dumped it down in front of us witjout a word but only half of it, we had to wait 5 minites for the other half. It took more than 10 minutes for us to attract anyone's attention to get the bill but it was the waiter who came, the waitress ignored us at least 5 times. We won't go again!
