Found this place thanks to Triparvisor and we weren't let down. Funky little restaurant, paired back raw style typical of many Thailand eateries. Menu choices are great and not too many (if you are fed up of looking through pages and pages of pictures at other places!). Mix of French and Thai cuisine. The French food is ace and the... More

A bit overpriced. The owner is all over the place and fake-friendly.. Food OK but nothing special at all. They don't even accept credit cards.

It was an average experience. The cocktails are cheap, but the food is so-so and overpriced. I would recommend this place only for drinks. For Thai food, you con find better places in Bophut and at more reasonable prices.

We ate at the Red Moon on a trip to Bophut a few years ago. On our recent trip, we took some US friends to the Fisherman's Village, and were pleasantly surprised to find the Red Moon still open. The food was very good, and it was the best meal we had on the island during our holiday.

We loved the food, the wine, the service and the conversation with the very kind owner. Would highly recommend! This was our favorite restaurant we ate at in Fisherman's Village. Thank you Jao!

This place is great. My fiancé and I went with 2 friends we met on the trip. We all got the special: appetizer and Thai entree. It was a pretty good deal at 290 Thai baht (I remember it being the equivalent of about 8 USD?) The owner was really nice. I don't know how the French side of the... More

We went to The Red Moon for a late lunch. As we were 4 in our group we decided to have 4 different starters and 4 different main courses which we shared... Let me tell you.....French restaurant or not...we went with the Thai option ..this is the best food I have had in the almost one month traveling through Thailand.... More
