Kasi Corner was started in the beautiful Storms River Township in Tsitsikamma. With the help of the generous community, through the be Kind SA inititaive, it has grown into a beautiful restaurant where you can meet the local people, enjoy delicious food and overlook the majestic Tsitsikamma Mountains in the background.

We had two amazing meals at Kasi Corner prepared for us by the wonderful Ncedi, who was so warm and welcoming. The community felt safe and everyone was so friendly. It was such a treat to get authentic South African cooking and our meal at Kasi Corner was one of the best we had during our time there.

Kasi Corner was recommended by our kayaking guide who grew up in Storm’s River, and it did not disappoint. Located not far from the main tourist area of the village in a more residential area, this restaurant had a casual neighborhood feel and INCREDIBLE food. We had BBQ wings, ribs, sausage, pork chops, and the curry chicken, and everything blew us away. The staff was friendly and kind (although if possible, try calling your order in advance so that it’s ready sooner. But even if you don’t, it’s worth the wait!) We’re from Texas so we can be particular about our BBQ, but we really thought this was the best food we ate in Storms River and maybe in all of South Africa.

We were recommended Kasi Corner by our kayaking guide for a taste of authentic, home cooked African food. We came by for an early dinner after kayaking and hiking and ordered a little bit of everything to try. The food here was SO GOOD! Every bite we ate was amazing. The meat was tender, falling off the bone, and everything was full of flavor. Our favorites were probably the BBQ wings and curry chicken. This was by far the best food we had in Tsitsikamma and possibly on our entire trip to South Africa. If we were staying in the area for longer we would definitely go back for another meal!

A must visit of you are in the village of Storms River! Jakes and Ncedi immediately made us feel at home. Some of the best ginger beer I have ever had. The food is great, try the Peri peri chicken liver sliders on vetkoek, you wont regret it!

Real authentic Tsitsikamma experience not just a fantastic meal. Jakes and Ncedi the host is friendly very helpful and cooks amazing food! The location is in the Stormsriver township with kids running around in the streets and neighbour's coming out to say hi to us. I ordered the Shisyanama and it was really good food. Highly recommend this place.

After our kayaking guide recommended this place to us we stopped by for dinner. The host immediately welcomed us and the food was delicious. Especially the curry and the bqq chicken wings. The best place to eat local South African food with a lovely view!

Here you can get super tasty braai at a fair price. It's best to contact us the day before via WhatsApp (the number can be found on their website) and place your order there so that you can plan better. Very friendly hospitality and pleasant atmosphere!

Delicious food that makes you lick your fingers. Very attentive and friendly service in a cute courtyard in the Storm river township. It's was really worth stopping here. Better call ahead to make a booking so the cook has the time to prepare your food.

By far the nicest and most authentic dining experience you’ll find in the area. The food is home cooked and delicious and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended!

Kasi Corner has delicious local food, excellent service from Ncedi and Jakes you are awesome, I highly recommend anyone passby Tsitsikamma in Storms river not to miss out on their local food, easly accessible, I will definitely come back again. KEEP IT UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
