Location and contact

The Joshua Tree Free House is Surrey's best kept secret established in 2001 by Kevin the Chef Proprietor. Our cosy pub / restaurant is situated on the edge of Earlswood common overlooking the 11th green of Redhill and Reigate Golf course. Kevin uses fresh ingredients to produce home cooked restaurant quality food, in addition to this we offer traditional Sunday lunches as well as a bar snack menu, all of which can be enjoyed in our high beamed chapel restaurant area or in the more relaxed bar area which offers a choice of 4 real ales.

I had the creamy mussels for starter. The mussels were fresh and succulent and the cream sauce was very full with flavor. The mixed roast was a little underwhelming but nice. Maybe j was a little too full already. Portion was substantial. Very friendly staff....More

I’d heard great things about the Joshua tree so suggested that we went there for our ‘ladies that lunch’ Christmas meal. I’m so glad we did! Food and service were outstanding. What was particularly nice was that we had plenty of space, could chat easily...More

We were part of a large party celebrating a 70th Birthday which normally frightens the life out of restaurants, or at least the waiting staff. No problem here, and that would be the theme for the evening. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were...More

Excellent choice of real ales and very good food selection to choose from. Different from every other pubs same old menu. Kangaroo starters and peanut masaman prawns with salad is exceptional. First time visited will definitely be back and coming with friends

The Joshua tree is a unassuming friendly pub in Earlswood. The pub serves delicious earthy quality food. The pies are very well made and the meat used is incredibly tasty. The deserts are worth of an high end restaurant and we throughly enjoy it. Service...More
