I keep going back because I like the menu choice but the bar staff have no customer service. They really need training on how to speak and treat customers. They seem more interested in what appears to be their regulars drinking pints and not those...More

I have eaten here a number of times and it is consistently good. This is not a pub trying to be a gastro pub but the standard of cooking is better than many pubs. I like the Cumberland sausage and mash

Great range of ales and wines at reasonable prices. Nice garden to while away a few hours even has a covered area for shade. We chose to have a mixed platter which was a nice mix of tasty treats.

We have been to The Plough a couple of times for Sunday Lunch. We didn't expect such a lovely Roast lunch and determined it to be one of the best for flavour we have had locally. One little snag, were the dogs! Hadn't realised dogs...More

Not my best experience. My food, a steak and ale pie was overdone and dry as a bone inside. Everyone else was ok.

Great roast lunch and good portions with very efficient and friendly service. Highly recommended. Would have given 5 stars but let down by lemon meringue pie, more like lemon curd tart with meringue on the top. Sticky toffee excellent. Will certainly return.
