Delightful old pub in a scenic location but I regret the food is almost standard pub grub. The menu is, in my opinion, too long and most food seems to be bought in rather than freshly prepared. Having said that, the pub was busy so obviously appeals to the local trade. Service was mixed and the lady who served the... More

Popped in for a nice dinner with a friend for a catch up. Staff were friendly and attentive. Log fires were on and it was bitterly old outside which made it soo worth while. Inside is very much a traditional british pub. Food was very good, and freshly cooked. Would recommend for small sized groups.

Back off holiday, needing a change from pizza and pasta, I was looking for something different. We were recommended this place by the B&B where we were staying, so decided to give it a try. When we walked in, there were a few people already there, it seemed to be a popular place, we picked our own table, and our... More

We usually go to the Skimmington Castle on Reigate Heath for Sunday lunch but they were full so I phoned round a couple of other Reigate Pubs who were also full, then remembered the Plough and how glad I was! Our lunch was so spectacular, two of us had the roast leg of pork with stuffing and crackling, it was... More

We come here regularly as a couple and with friends every couple of months, the food is excellent and you get a very generous portion. The inside is very quaint and is a proper pub not one of these themed pubs that seem to be every where a real community feel we highly recommend a visit.

We visited this pub a few years ago and were disappointed, but are glad we gave it a second chance, since it has changed beyond recognition. Even the sign has changed from the traditional farmer's implement to the stellar constellation. While, like most pubs these days, most of the space is given over to dining, The Plough retains a pub... More

Couldn't believe we had spent 6 hours in this very charming traditional pub, it is so comfortable and welcoming. Went with friends with a table of 10. Fabulous big oval table with higgledy pickaldy chairs which were so comfy. The Sunday lunch, although limited was delicious and cooked very well

This is a pleasant, atmospheric pub on the edge of Earlswood Common and adjacent to St Johns Church. This has been my choice of local for 35 years. The pub is open plan, but comprises a number of intimate spaces, with ample table provision. The pub always offers a good selection of real ales. Food here is generally of a... More
