Stopped off for lunch before visiting the museum and Glen. Nice ambience but on the day we visited a very limited selection on the menu - not sure if that is always the case? Went with what was available but wouldn't rush back.

Sit downstairs to enjoy a fabulous view. Good range of food, lovely gift shop and award winning museum also on site.

Good, if a little pricey. Nice environment and views from sun room to the rear excellent. Excellent car parking in centre of village with good outside space if weather allows. Even a small Yurt with table inside.

Food is lovely though the service can be a little slow and the dining room can get rather chilly. There are radiators in the room but we have found they are often not on and it would make all the difference to be comfortable whilst eating there.

We enjoyed two lunches and quite a few cakes here while we stayed in the area. The food is fresh and delicious with changing menus and plenty of vegetarian options. The staff were great, the views, the garden and local artworks on display made it a very enjoyable environment.

Visited this coffee shop on recommendation from our air B&B host. A very nice set up with a lovely conservatory - unfortunately too full when we arrived. The choice of cakes is very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the Lemon and Elderflower drizzle cake - I hesitate to use the word moist as that seems to currently be the most... More

Always a nice place to eat. Plenty of local produce and healthy food on offer. And, of course, plenty to look at. Staff courteous, clean and excellent toilets. Parking usually easy. Wheel chair access.
