This restaurant is a real gem! I had the prawns on the menu on my first visit in October 2016 and was very impressed... Living in Australia when visiting the coast we are very spoilt with seafood, though this was by far the best! When I returned to the same area last week, this was our first stop for dinner-... More

Always enjoy coming here to this popular restaurant which is always buzzing when we arrive with other diners. The chef is top class and the food is always served very attractive. The staff are always very attentive and the service is very good. A must to order is the fish and chips -- fresh and the batter is to die... More

Unfortunately on the last day we were there they had a staff problem but that paled into insignificance when the food arrived as it was delicious, and the surroundings are by no means luxurious but just so nice it has a lovely ambiance about the place, difficult to describe but makes you want to return again and again.

We stopped here on one of our stops while out on our cruise of lough derg. The service was incredibly friendly and the food top rate. I took the suggestion of a previous review and saved room for their hot fudge sundae. You Must Try This!! Absolutely wonderful. A delightful little spot and you will enjoy every moment!

We visited in the Terryglass area for 2 weeks in September. The Derg Inn became our go to dining choice. We had several meals here from breakfast to brunch, lunch and dinner. Everything was delicious and the service excellent. We met the very friendly owners Mickey and Joyce. Every time we visited Mickey would make a point of having a... More
