Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small but very nice place. Staff was friendly and service was fairly quick, food took a bit of time to come out but they were almost full so understandable for a smaller place. Food was very tasty, I had a brown rice bowl with steak,...mushrooms, eggplant & fajita veggies with the chadon beni pesto while my wife had the shrimp po boy sandwhich with fries. For desert we shared the last slice of Basque Cheesecake and everything tasted great. Would also recommend to try their spritzers, light and refreshing not too sweet and good flavors to choose from! Breakfast menu is available all day too! Definitely worth a visit!More

Some criticism-1 the signage should be more visible. 2 I bought a cold salmon with onions, mushrooms and peppers it tasted good but the potion was very small. The positives - my wife bought a steak cheese sandwich that was 5 stars, the mocha latte was 5...stars the cold salmon I bought was 5 stars except of the size of the potion as I said earlier. The restaurant itself is cozy the staff is friendly and food presentation is a 5. Overall it’s worth trying.More

I visited this establishment recently for brunch with my spouse who was celebrating a birthday on the said day. The service was more than acceptable and the food delicious with adequate vegetarian/vegan options available. I mentioned to our server than it was my spouse's birthday...but NO acknowledgement was made by her, not so much as a verbal "Happy Birthday". I thought this to be unusually disappointing as such special occasions are usually recognised by the restaurants I have visited in Trinidad and Tobago. Maybe this is part of the NEW NORMAL?More

This was my second visit for lunch and was not disappointed. It was so lovely! Service: attentive, friendly, accommodating Prices: affordable, definitely value for money Food: fresh ingredients, prepared well, not a long wait, good sized portions (at least for the pasta and flat bread),...desserts are yummy!! Ambience: quaint, clean, charming, local art, great playlist, amazing scents of food cooking or coffee being made Parking: limited so you should carpool or be prepared to park on the street Reservations?: Only recommended for the weekend. Weekdays are pretty quiet. The coffee lab next door: it's a separate business but if you order coffee from them the Bisou wait staff will bring it to your table when it's ready.More

Went there for a quick lunch only. It is very low key on the outside so a bit of a surprise when you walk in. The food (sandwiches) was good but the soup was a bit disappointing. But a very nice experience overall. The deserts...were very good as wellMore

The setting is rustic. An old house converted into a bistro. Squeaky wooden floors.. old window louvers..and soft jazz add to the retro feeling. They're 4 parking spots, however there's a public car park across the street. The food came quickly and was very good...value for money. There's also a coffee nook with a barista. Had myself a nice cortado. Glad to have such a great option in the East and will definitely go again.More

Four times, I've had the pleasure of visiting Bisou and its neighbouring, adjoined coffee shop Noir (you can sit in either and order from either). As someone who grew up and lives in the East and works in PoS, I was filled with pride to...discover that not only did we have a restaurant selling some of the best breakfast and lunch food I've had but was also paired with a coffee shop that roasts, freshly grinds and expertly brews its own coffee. I consider it a credit to the East. The proprietor is a professionally trained pastry chef who has weaponized her craft to produce a varied, changing offering of addictive treats, whether it's brownies, panna cotta, coffee cakes, chocolate cakes, banana bread, dessert squares or some creative treat I can't name. FOOD I've had one of their flatbreads, their quiche, their classic breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast) and the French Toast. Although I'm not the biggest fan of French Toast, I indulged a hankering for something sweet and was blown away. They used a high quality brioche loaf slices, made their own whipped cream and garnished it with fresh strawberries. The slices were thick enough to give a full bite but not so much to throw off the crust-to-center ratio. Speaking of crust, this is where they won me over yet again- crispy and golden brown across each face of the bread which was a departure from the all too common offering from other restaurants where it's burnt around the edges and too light in the middle. I had the quiche with sauteed spinach and sauteed tomatoes which was crisp, filling and flavourful. I appreciated that the quality of the ingredients starred in the dish and were only enhanced in its preparation - The pratfalls of overseasoning or overcooking were avoided. This restaurant and, by extension, its customers is lucky in that the Tunapuna Market is in walking distance. This restaurant does not let that go to waste. The dishes often feature produce whether as garnishing, starring attractions or accompaniments. That market, since I was a child helping my aunts and uncles make market runs, up to the last two years has maintained an offering of prime produce. All items were prepared fresh and were notably "clean" eats- Even the heavier items such as the flatbreads were never oily or overwhelmingly busy. I was always left full yet never sluggish after a meal. STAFF The staff seemed enthusiastic about where they worked and I was left with the impression that they personally sought the satisfaction of their customers. I hope their disposition can be maintained through the continued surge in popularity I believe this place will experience the more people discover the gem under their noses. Very rarely can a restaurant deliver so superbly on each ground, consistently. I've come to learn that nothing is by accident and rather is the product of care, work and attention. As to how they manage to sell such a labour intensive product at such competitive prices, I can't say. Whereas this is cause for happiness as a customer, I am slightly concerned whether it is sustainable. I suggest you go as soon as you can.More

Since I discovered this Bistro, it has become my favorite coffee shop, breakfast splurge and first choice for a cozy lunch date. The service is great and everything I've eaten is great. The accommodations they make for my dietary restrictions makes a world of difference...to me. My favorite dessert is the chocolate brownie; I'm not a chocolate fan but I find it amazing! I stopped off this morning for breakfast to-go but looking forward to dining-in for a birthday breakfast soon.More
