Every time we visit Amorgos we go to this tavern and we enjoy it very much. The first time we went there because we were attracted from the tables by the sea, but since then we visit the tavern twice a year (at spring and autumn when Amorgos is beautiful). Friendly service, good food quality, nice place. See you there... More

I think the place is too expensive. Specifically, we ordered the fishermen salad, octopus (frozen) cooked in honey, steamed mussles with garlic and mustard, one bottle of ouzo (100ml) and water (1L) and we paid 42,10 euros for two people. They charge ouzo 11 euros, water 2 euros and bread 1,60 euros. Also, they told us that they charge the... More

Very Nice location with good food though a bit overpriced (50€ for two). You should try ntakos, kalamarakia and zucchini.

The quality of the fresh fish is obvious - everything is fresh, the owner seems to particularly pay attention to the quality of his raw material. Apart from the fish the kitchen is good but could be improved. A bit more effort is needed in the details: a fish restaurant needs to serve fish with fish knife and not steak... More

One of our best meals in Katapola was spaghetti with lobster, in this lovely restaurant by the sea with a very friendly staff. We each got a whole lobster tail, atop a bed of spaghetti with a delicious sauce. Highly recommended. If you're staying by the port, it's just a short walk around the harbor.

We ordered a salad, a portion of mussels, shrimps and ouzo. We paid 34,20€, approximately 17€ per person for just 3 dishes that were average. The mussels were way too salty, the shrimps were average and the cheese in the salad was of poor quality. We didn't like it at all.

... our experience was also mildly disappointing in terms of food and service relative to price. I can't rave about it, but to be fair would like to go back to order a grilled fish, as that seems to be what they do best. My friend doesn't eat fish at all, and I didn't feel like struggling with fishbones that... More

Well chosen fresh fish and excellent chef delivering wonderfully grilled octopus, cuttlefish and other delicious foods. Nino is a wonderful host and will give you good advice on what to order.

Exellent restaurant on the waterfront of Katapola harbour. Dishes were reasonable prized and very tasty. We shared a plate with my 9 year old, plates were quite big.
