Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ted Lasso Tour's Favourite Cafe! ❤️ Lovely local authentic British fry up place with healthier options like wraps, smoothies & juices. Super cosy and friendly - for any tourists that want a slice of local British life; this is your place as it's a locals...cafe. If you watch the show Ted lasso, apparently this was Brendan Hunt's favourite cafe as well as ours! See you in here! Say hi to Suleman for us! ❤️More

Handy stop just outside Richmond station. Decent coffee with a freshly made chicken Caesar salad wrap. Functional furniture comfortable enough for a quick stop. Also added a chunky cake to follow. Friendly people working the cafe as well.

We really enjoyed the breakfast here! Very quick and friendly service. We had English breakfasts, a variety of coffee drinks and more, and it was all very tasty!

Used to be my favourite place for great coffee and breakfast but seems the owners have changed. Cappuccino just hot milk and veggie breakfast poor - uncooked eggs and hard avocado. Such a shame- used to be amazing but now don't bother. Pay a visit...to Green Bottle cafe in St Margarets instead!More

What happened to this place? We used to visit as a family once a week. It's now run by a family with the worst manners I've ever witnessed. Destroyed what used to be the best coffee shop around! Has the kiwi lady who ran it...gone? I would never visit here again which is such a shameMore

Excellent breakfast wrap and coffee. Nice ambience. Would return if in the area. Just a few yards from Richmond train station.

I haven't been here for a while but it is my go to cafe in Richmond as the coffee has always been really good and it is close to the station so a great place to meet a friend which I did today. The first...thing I noticed was that it was empty which I haven't seen before, secondly the smell of stale curry hit me, followed by the very loud music. The people behind the till were new to me and to be honest I nearly walked out. I definitely couldn't stay inside with the noise and smell but luckily there were seats on the pavement so I ordered a coffee and sat outside. The coffee was very good but I definitely wouldn't have been able to sit in the cafe.More

Lovely coffee, charming service. Appears to be run on a shoe string, original shabby mismatched furniture.Sink in toilet was vile, extremely dirty. Whole toilet needs to be cleaned thoroughly and decorated. Shame as coffee is so good.

Lovely cafe. Good choice of veggie food. Sweetcorn fritters made a pleasant change for brunch. Eggs poached to perfection/just as requested.

Great atmosphere, delicious breakfasts, coffee and smoothies. Lovely staff - there was misunderstanding with our order, but they were quick to sort. Interesting local art on walls and antipodean fare for sale on counter. Our favourite brunch place in the whole of Richmond

Went on Sunday morning before getting a train. Ordered and we were informed that there was a 20 min wait. No problem, have a coffee and chat until brunch arrives. It arrived 45 minutes later with no apology. We ordered sourdough with smashed avocado, poached...egg and added bacon as extra. The sourdough was tooth breaking, bacon was rigid, and the egg was hard boiled. Really disappointed. There was zero point sending back as there was a queue for takeout coffee, and we had to get to King's Cross. 2 coffees and 2 of the above breakfasts cost £31. I absolutely appreciate businesses are under financial pressure, and prices are inflated to accommodate, but the pressure is also on the customers. We could have eaten at Bill's or the Ivy, but decided against a chain and chose the little independent cafe. Bad choice. (can the young lady serving food, with the very very long dark hair, please tie it back when serving or around food prep...) Maybe having a bad day at butter beans but we won't return Date of visit: November 2022More

Ok breakfast. It was luke warm and the mushrooms tasted odd. The sausage was lovely however. The tiny pot of baked beans was more juice rather than beans. Expensive for what it was. Friendly staff however.

This is my favourite coffee stop in Richmond which is very handy for the station. They do flat white coffees in various sizes and being a purist and not liking a milky drink I went for a small one which was excellent.

We came in for a small flat white. These guys undoubtedly do the best coffee in Richmond or anywhere nearby. The Anzac biscuits are also fabulous.
