A bad restaurant in every way which trades on its lovely location overlooking the bay but offers little else. Inexperienced/badly trained staff (if trained at all). Over-priced, tasteless and very boring food, the fish was cold, tasteless and seemed to have just been thrown on the plate and an undrinkable Albarino. Worst of all, having paid our bill we complained... More

The Sa Xarxa patio tables look out onto the crystal blue waters of Bay of Alcudia. A fantastic location to enjoy your meal. On this occasion to Colonia de Sat Pere we decided to dine at Sa Xarxa - we were specifically looking for a restaurant serving fresh fish. The Sa Xarxa did not disappoint. The fish of the day... The restaurant has the most beautiful spot onto the seafront of the village, I'll give it that, but the rest is very mediocre. The décor is wonderful, the food is good but quite expensive and in small portions, but for me the experience is mainly tainted by the service. The staff mostly speak German and a little bit of English,... More

A perfect spot for a romantic meal, right on the sea. This was probably the most expensive meal we had whilst in Mallorca and it didn't really offer value for money. The service was incredibly slow and lax and the food was nice, but not exceptional.

Great restaurant right on the seafront with amazing views and sunset over the mountains in the distance. The food is very good with lots of choice including fish, meats & pasta. Advisable to book as we nearly missed out by just turning up but then a table became free so we were seated quite quickly.

We were celebrating a birthday and so gave the choice to the birthday boy. He could not have chosen better. We had the tapas starter which was an excellent mix of seafood meat dishes and vegetables. For the main courses we chose from the menu but could have had the choice of fresh fish from the chiller cabinet which included... More

We booked a week in advance, but were disappointed not to be given a table alongside the sea. The restaurant was full and service was painfully slow. It took 10 minutes before we were attended. The waiter was casually dressed, and wore a pink shirt which was soaked front and back by sweat (a change of shirt was definitely in... More

We stopped here by accident for tapas and a cool drink and loved the flavours, the turquoise cushions, the crashing surf and the sunny breeze so much that we returned despite staying 20 miles away. The lunch we chose was delightful. Fresh, bursting with local flavours, vibrant colours and a setting second to none. Friendly staff and a quirky loo... More

Not that I would recommend you to spend your vacation at Colonia de Sant Pere, but an al-fresco dinner at the promenade of this little village is a dinner to remember. The food at the Sa Xarxa is simple and straightforward, but what you get is good and worth the investment. But make a reservation, you are not the only... More

We were so pleased with this restaurant and the quality of the food and service that we came back ... 3 straight days, driving from Campanet! We thouroughly savoured the ravioli with lime, pasta with clams, fresh scorpion fish, full portion of tapas and cool rosé wine. We enjoyed the soothing Mediterranean breeze, the sound of the gentle waves, the... More
