We had three meals at this restaurant and must say we enjoyed all of them. However, even allowing for the fact that this is in French Polynesia, the costs were high relative to the quality of the meals. Wines were expensive, though a reasonable selection. For the most part, the service was quite good, but one set or orders must... More

We only had breakfast included for our stay at the InterContinental hotel, however we still ended up back at Te Tiare every night for dinner, and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is located just below the main reception, looking out towards the main pool and the pacific ocean beyond that. The views from the restaurant were beautiful at all times... More

We had a buffet lunch included with our Day Room on our Paul Gauguin trip. It was a very nice way to begin since we had arrived that morning after a red-eye flight from LAX. While we received an airline breakfast, it was nice to have a free included lunch before we embarked on the ship. Always nice to start... More

Staff were very helpful and try very hard to understand requests for special (dietery needs) food, and have it made for you, food was great!

I encourage you all to read my review of the hotel. The largest problem with the restaurants on site, (this one espicially) is the lackluster speed of service and quality to cost. We literally did not have one "hot" meal out of the 6 times we ate here because the service was so slow. Contually we had to chase the... More

We were on our way back from our amazing honeymoon on Bora Bora, and we had a layover in Tahiti. We took a cab to the InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa and ate a snack and watched the Polynesian show. It was a lot of fun! The food on the other hand wasn't fantastic. Granted it was very late at... More

Large portions of average quality. We went here as outsiders for a preflight dinner at USD60 for two main courses only. We were somewhat surprised that free Internet was denied, given that free WIFI was offered in most restaurants. Plenty of choice on the menu, with some emphasis on American goodies.

We had breakfast there every morning and there was variety. The coffee wasn't the best, but the cappuccinos were great, just took a while to come. We had both ala carte and buffet dinner and we prefer ala carte. The tuna tartare was amazing! We found that even though the buffet had a lot of variety, it lacked in taste... More

Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very authentic and entertaining shows two nights per week on Wednesday and Friday. Booths are very comfortable. Drinks are pricey but that is the norm in Tahiti. Breakfast buffet is amazing.

We had dinner at this restaurant at the Intercontinental Tahiti. The Mahi Mahi with vanilla sauce tasted amazing, vanilla was not too 'strong' and came with a side of rice. Garlic Prawns were full of flavour! We had to shell these which we generally don't like doing but the taste was worth it (choice of side, we had fries). Going... More
