We had dinner here and it was delicious. The service was friendly and professional. Great value for money. The house king prawn dish was to die for.

We have visited this restaurant for many years and this time we felt it had fallen behind and is out of date. I refer to the food offering in particular which was average but overall our experience fell short.
I’m really sorry to do this but we’d booked and showed up on time. Instead of being greeted and shown to our table they looked at us like we were a nuisance and just said “only inside”. If this had been conveyed when we booked...we wouldn’t of come. And to be fair, your staff were rude and clearly very busy. Back to the hotel for an Uber eats pizza for us. Pretty below par experienceMore
We visited this restaurant recently with a couple of friends. The food was average which was disappointing as we had been before and it was lovely. However, service was good and the staff were very polite.
I've been coming for a number of years and have always enjoyed the amazing food and the beautiful setting along with the polite and friendly service. I would definitely
I really would recommend this for a romantic evening. It's a quiet location but the singer/guitarist adds his own touch to a number of old favourites. The food is excellent and the service very good.
With our daughter getting married the next day opted for a quiet early dinner and easy drive home. Booked the same day and had table for 6 plus grandaughter . Nice choice which suited all. Quickly seated and orders taken. Mixture of starters, which everyone...enjoyed. Steaks for 2,Sea Bass for 2 and Lobster for one.Nice kiddies meal which came early. Cant fault this place but it did lack a later in atmosphere which dropped it a point. It suited our purpose and probably would revisit.More
After staying in Vale do Lobo and repeatedly visiting only our favourite restaurants for years, a stay in Quinta do Lago presented the perfect opportunity to try new restaurants that were different to our normal venues. After seeing numerous reviews online promising a fantastic meal,...we decided to give Tucano’s a try - and it didn’t disappoint! Inside, the restaurant is relaxed and comfortable with a stunning vaulted ceiling. The staff are so attentive and friendly, which made our evening all the more enjoyable. The menu offers a range of excellent dishes; I would highly recommend the prawn linguine and apple pie! Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed all our meals, so for that reason I would highly recommend Tucano’s to anybody who is looking for a relaxed evening, with excellent food and outstanding service!More
Well we never knew this lovely restaurant was here! Waitress said it has been there nearly 20 years. Really smart interior looking out over pool .. very attractive. Waiting staff were charming. Recommended wine which was spot on. Food was really nice.. we all had...John Dory with delicious mushroom risotto.. surprised John Dory was bartered - no mention of that in the menu .More
Really lovely little restaurant, the service is fantastic too. We all really enjoyed our meals, really generous portion sizes too. I would recommend the grilled prawns, they were delicious and the biggest prawns I’ve ever had in my life.
We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday with our toddler. The food was exquisite and the setting is really lovely. It was rather quiet however so I can only assume this is just a hidden gem! Check it out!
We’ve been coming here intermittently over the years. The staff have remained throughout, and are efficient with appreciated, and appropriate humour. Food is always excellent - try the chateaubriand. Surroundings make you feel you are really on vacation. I can’t understand why it is often...quiet. It is Quinta’s best kept secretMore
Excellent Food, The rice is great and the chips are really nice. The service is good and the atmosphere is great. Would recommend.
While on Holidays in Portugal last year we had the pleasure of eating here a few times! The place is wonderful! It’s surrounding are stunning from the little fish in the pond outside and the little bridge leading up to the door! The service was...first class and the food was amazing! The choice of food was really good and the range of fish in the tank was super! I could not recommend this place enough it’s a hidden treasure in a place that you can escape to in Portugal! Thanks for looking after us so well on the nights we were there and hopefully we will be back again!More
I have been there several times and been struck by the standard of food and service. It clearly has some regular customers but usually not too crowded. Try it.
