This restaurant has been downgraded to a snack bar. The menu consists of nothing but some sausages and cheese plates. Only one coo working and we have now waited an hour for our sausages. Can’t speak to whether they will be any good. Still waiting....Avoid this place.More

Worst meal on the island. Came in for dinner with my family. The menu is a really short list of dishes (disregard the published menus). One employee for all the tables, and one cook. Mind you, only 3 tables occupied so in total there were...12 people in the restaurant. The waiter seems like it’s his first day on the job. Brings the wine, pours one glass and leaves, disregarding my wife has no glass. We waited for 45 minutes for a cold melon soup. Then another 45 five minutes for the rest of the dishes. Absolute nonsense. Stay away from this place. It’s overpriced and the worst in device.More

The food was very good, the service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The shrimp risotto was very nice and the vegetarian burger also nice.

Median meal, which my kids barely touched, at an extremely overpriced rate. Waiters had to be called upon by shouting, place was completely empty. Never to return.

A great restaurant located in Vila do Porto. Nice selection of wines and a small but very tasty menu. Great coffee to finish off. All served by some of the most helpful staff on the island. If you are looking for a bit of style...to your lunch of evening meal, look no further.More

Elegant and good style. Tasty and high quality food with special tweaks. The pasta with pesto had mint and tasted very fresh. Excellent service, very attentative.

We enjoyed the squid risotto and the grilled tuna - each perfectly prepared. A calm atmosphere, good food, and I recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

Lovely pasta and soup. Service was wonderful and all we wanted to do was take a dip in the pool because it looked mighty tempting. Try the pesto pasta with peppermint. An odd combination but it works!

The service tonight was hostile, the lead waiter was unwelcoming and showed no hospitality. He rolled his eyes at our request for the bill and was in no way welcoming. The food was fine but not what you’d expect for the price or decor. My...steak was overcooked and the octopus risotto was potentially microwaved based on heat and dryness. I don’t usually do reviews but this was unusually terrible.More

Stayed at the Charming Blue Hotel which shares the facilities of this restaurant. I must say, we really don´t get all the good reviews for this place. The food is alright, but price much higher than the surrounding restaurants. The risotto was not really anything...more than rice mixed with a few things and the portions are very small. The lady that served us was however really friendly. It is conveniently located so we tried a few times, but there are other better options at Santa Maria offering higher value for money.More
