A homely bar with good tapas and Skinner's Penny Come Quick as the pub winds down for the evening restaurant guests.

This pub was recommended to us as we were passing through. Very friendly and attentive staff; interesting and varied menu and food piping hot. Very busy place with good atmosphere but would need to book a table due to its popularity.

There were dogs in the bar area when we went but none in the area where people were eating. Hope this helps.

Description
This is a lovely old pub restaurant, serving delicious food. We have eaten there twice & each time has been a wonderful experience. The food is fresh & the vegetables in season. Delicious. We will certainly be going again.
