Fantastic place to eat, have a ice cream or cup of tea by the sea. Very friendly staff and stunning view, Well worth a trip.
Biked down to the beach over Easter (yes and back up that 25% hill!) and came across this little oasis! Much needed brews sat in the sunshine overlooking the beach (and car park!)....what's not to like. Friendly and efficient staff. Thank you.
Lovely tranquil place and lovely team. Great coffee and officially the best hot chocolate ever! Hopefully we’ll be back as the menu and cakes look fabulous too!
Great little cafe on Loe Beach serving coffee, cakes, snacks and hot food. Had the smoked mackerel pate. Whilst my daughter loves their hash browns. A real gem of a place and really friendly staff too.
Two years of Covid-19 restrictions, not being allowed to enter the cafe or sit in the garden has been sorely missed but it's back with a bang! Run by an amazing mother & daughter team this year, it's reached new heights, with freshly made food,...and out-of-this-world homemade cakes, if you visit regularly expect to add a few inches to your waistline. You have to keep in mind this is a small beachside cafe/restaurant with a small kitchen and can't offer endless menu choices, it's not a Michelin 5-star, do that and I am sure you will be delighted. A word of warning though, arrive early on sunny weekends or be prepared to walk the 5mins walk down the hill from the village because the carpark will be full by 10 am. Enjoy the ambiance of sitting in the garden and watching boats sailing, families kayaking, paddle-boarding, or playing in the water, or just sit quietly inside this peaceful cafe, whilst drinking a coffee, eating breakfast or lunch, or just indulge yourself with one of the amazing homemade cakes I dare you! This weekend I visited twice, had my lattes, and could not resist the mouth-watering look of a freshly made Strawberry and Blueberry pavlova, it was so nice I just had to compliment the chef on her baking after I had eaten it. Whilst I was there another customer walked back into the cafe, just to compliment the chef on her Walnut and Cinnamon cake so it's not just me who enjoys the delights of the home made cakes. If you are lucky, you maybe be able to get a booking for their fish n chips night (every other Friday) but be warned they are fully booked a month in advance throughout the summer season I am going back for more, this week and every week until the cafe is closed for the winter, you should come and try it (not on a Monday though as the cafe is closed), I don't think you will be disappointed if you do, I never am!More
We popped in to Loe Beach café for lunch yesterday while visiting relations in the area & visiting the National Trust Tresillick nearby. It is an amazing place in a delightful location at the edge of a beautiful estuary. We had the smoked St Ives...mackerel with horseradish sauce & skin on fries with a strawberry milkshake. Thank you Jodie & Imogen for making our stay so great!More
We walked here from Penpol and it made for a nice stop. The food was good, we both had ham and cheese panini which was nice. It's a little on the steep side in terms of price, bit I guess that's the cost of living....Also, I ordered cheesy chips, and got a bag of grated cheese and a separate bag of chips. Bit odd, but I need not have worried as the meals came with plenty of fries.More
Mist on north coast so headed here amazing tasty lunch squid special and chicken flatbread surprised many people moaning about parking when it’s clearly not run by the cafe Keep up good work , oh forgot to mention the staff are amazingly friendly
Cafe is nice enough but let down by shocking Parking arrangements. It took 20 mins for the app to download, for which time we were charged £100. We won't be back!
A total 100% with every aspect of this delightful secret place , food, staff, atmosphere ,the view to die for. A must come to,relax and enjoy, make sure you come down hungry you will want to try every thing.Reasonable parking rates too.
Fabulous Cafe, wonderful staff, delicious food, enchanting location ohh for those of you that can resist everything but temptation theres a veritable cornucopia of totally tantalising cakes all washed accompanied with locally roasted coffee, nom nom nom
Had an enjoyable snack but the visit was spoiled by the ridiculous parking management used there. A genuine mistake on my part meant threatening letters demanding £100 for a few minutes. A quick online search shows they are notorious. As a result I shan't be...back. I'm sure it won't be just me either.More
Me and my mate had the best hangover meal this morning and 2 ladies there where lovely and welcoming definitely advice going there !!!
Last night we came with friends to a wonderful event organised at the cafe. The Bryher Boys sang a selection of Cornish songs and sea shanties, and we all joined in with great gusto! The cafe had been decorated with care, and the smoked mackerel...or halloumi baps with salad and chips were delicious. This was followed by fruit crumble and cream. Heaven! We all greatly appreciated the enormous effort made to welcome and entertain us all. We cannot recommend Loe Beach cafe highly enough!More
