I struggled in praslin with the quality of food both at the hotel restaurant as well as the few other places we tried. Thankfully we found pirogue, lovely place , they had vegetarian options that were delicious , the non-vegetarian was also excellent. Ambience is nice, in relative context the quantity of food to price was also decent. Will definitely... More

Comparing prices on island it is good ratio between price and quality. Catch of the day (was some kind of snaper) was very fine. Only remark is that prices in menu should indicate total including tax and service as presented net prices are bit confusing

this beachfront restaurant is a family owned and is certainly the best in the area. Menu is various, service is prompt, waiters are polite and fast. There is a more than decent wine list and we've tried both chile and south african wines. The dessert section reveals the presence of a skilled chef. Dish of the day is excellent, as... More

AS we ate on dinner on the 31st December the restaurant had a buffet. It was extremely expensive but the selection was varied and the food was good. There was a live band but the dinners were mainly families with small children and so the atmosphere was not really conducive to dancing. They did do transport to and from the... More

We went twice for lunch. Sk for the catch of the day. Fresh fish! Good seafood. Good service. Great value! Service a bit slow but like everywhere in Seychelles. Island time!

Les Lauriers food was definitely the best, but Pirogue we went back to twice just because it wasn't a buffet. Service is bad or indifferent everywhere so no different here. Definitely need to make reservations as this place seemed to be full every night and we saw people getting turned away. Try to get a table on the balcony as... More

My wife and I stayed 4 days on Praslin and tried several restaurants. The best was : Own cooking. In general prices (in €) are high and quality of food is just reasobale but cooking mostly poor. This place was the best we tried - reasonable food but relativly expensive. Some waiters friendly some uninterested and not at all supportive.

After I searched many restaurants in Praslin, I found out that Pirogue is the best. They have a large variety of meals under 300 SCR. Fish main courses are excelent, the people there make efforts for clients to feel great.

We called in here for lunch during a tropical downpour and I daresay others did the same. The restaurant has a fishing themed décor which is quite nice as its only a few metres from the beach and it seemed very clean and bright and cheerful . its a shame the staff are not the same but this is common...
