We decided to go to the EastonSpice Sunday afternoon buffet. This is a new pre- book buffet. There was 5 of us. We arrived and had the usual warm friendly welcome and were seated. We were brought poppadoms and all the dips out. After eating the poppadoms and dips we moved on to the buffet section. This had starters and mains and a side dish or two with naan breads. Starters were chicken tikka with peppers and onions, onion bhajis, spring rolls and some other pakoras and a salad. Next was the mains, there was three curries. Two chicken curries, one lamb and two vege options also. Because we have eaten here a few times now, they kindly gave us curries of spice level that they knew we would like. So we had a garlic chilli chicken, lamb jhalfrezi , chicken korma and prawn rogan josh. It’s really great to be able to try different curries and mix and match. We always get looked after here and it’s always enjoyable. All curries and food were delicious as always and the staff are the friendliest people you could ever wish to meet.

We ordered a large mixed take away meal of 10 different dishes for 6 of us last night and it was a treat for all of us. The food was ready on time, every dish was delicious and we all loved it. Cheered us all up

We decided to drive out of Bath as we saw this restaurant offered 241 on the Taste Card. On arrival I was a bit apprehensive as there was no one else in the restaurant however with the current Coronavirus crisis that wasn’t a surprise. On the Taste Card you get 241 on mains. They also showed us their Tuesday banquet deal. We opted for this as for the price it offered a great choice. We had a selection of items from the menu, none of which we could fault. The food wasn’t at all greasy and it was the hottest Naan bread I have ever eaten. We had some we couldn’t eat and they offered take away containers for us which was good. Hygiene wise they have a good rating and you could see they were making a real effort with the current guidelines for distancing too. My only comment is that if first impressions were anything to go by I wouldn’t have stayed at the restaurant. You walk through the back of the pub from the car park and it’s not the most appealing entrance and welcome. Overall our meal was excellent, we felt safe and enjoyed our meal for a very reasonable price as well. Take away was very busy which must be a good sign too.

We took the chance to eat here at Easton Spice, we are not locals and don't know the area. Absolutely fantastic food so glad we we dined here. The actual restaurant is inside the George and Dragon pub. The menu had a great choice of dishes not too many like some restaurants we have visited. We had fresh poppadoms and chutney tray too share this woke our taste buds up, followed by a Garlic Chilli Chicken and a Chicken Madras with a side of pilau rice and chapatti. What was great the chef came out to our table to ask if everything was to our satisfaction and gave us a quick over view how he cooks his dishes. Would recommend this place to enjoy amazing food at reasonable prices.

Our first visit, so didn't know we could have used Gourmet Card for a discount but still felt it was good value. Can't put my finger on it but we both agreed our meals had just that little extra something about them that made them above other Indian restaurants and takeaways we'd used previously.Surroundings are quite sparse and basic but the menu is well thought out and varied. Service excellent Yes you do have to pop through to the George & Dragon bar for your drinks but it's all one building and makes choice of drinks greater than some restaurant's wine/bar list. I like the fact that folk collecting takeaways don't have to actually walk all through the dining room, which is often the case in restaurants that do takeouts! The free parking system works well. And Finally; YES we'll be back !

Absolutely incredible service and food! Myself and my partner booked for 8pm this evening,we arrived at the restaurant and we had a warm and friendly greeting from the guys. Was sat on a table in the corner. Clean and comfortable. When the guy came to take our order he made some suggestions, we are absolute foodies and always go looking for different new things. Highly recommended the waiter was exceptional with his suggestions and even gave me a recipe on how to make a certain curry! Highly recommend 10/10 service went above and beyond. Many thanks as you made our evening!!

Very unusual to have an Indian in the back of a pub but we really enjoyed our meals! Lots of choice of drinks which you purchase from the adjoining pub - reasonably priced. Really tasty currys waiter suggested a lamb special curry for my partner which he said was one of the best Curry's he ever had. My prawn dansak was really tasty lots of flavour, loads of prawns. Staff were really attentive and friendly would definitely reccomend and come again if in the area.

Superb service, great food - chef suggested that we allow him creative licence with the type of 'gravy' and we were very pleased with the result - very tasty. Drinks are served at the bar to the side of the restaurant. The car park is a 'pay & display', but if you are eating at the restaurant, car parking is free - just register the vehicle reg on the tablet at the counter. Will be attending again very soon.

I was visiting Bath alone and staying at a nearby B&B and didn’t want to bother trekking back into Bath. The decor is modest, but the welcome is warm and friendly and the staff couldn’t do enough for me. The food was quickly served and was delicious. I liked the fact that it seemed very authentic and there was a good description of each dish, including its origin. Guests wanting a quiet intimate dinner might want to avoid evenings when there is a party in the pub (I was treated to a very loud live band which didn’t bother me too much as I wasn’t trying to make conversation with anyone and the playlist was great!). Comforting old favourites in terms of curries but dishes I had never seen before. And all reasonably priced. I loved it.

First time of using Easton Spice for a take away and won't be the last. Friendly, efficient service and great menu choice. All the dishes we had were really tasty and not too salty as some Indian take away restaurant food can be. Easton Spice is a brilliant addition to Batheaston village and we will certainly be having food from there again.

I had my first meal here which friends took me to for my birthday and it was amazing. As well as my curry being very tasty they indulged me as a non drinker by making me tea to drink and made my friends naga extra hot as per her request. The sixty five spice dish was great as my friend said he has it every time . Great service great food and I'm going back to work my way through the menu !

Easton Spice we found after not quite knowing where it was. Inside of the George & dragon pub on the main London road in Batheaston. Tucked away at the rear ,was a vintage looking Indian eatery. Ordered drinks at pub bar , and was served prompt by waiter for food orders. Take away orders were busy so had a small wait. When food came, they were good sized portions , well presented and very tasty Fairly priced and would call in again when visiting bath.

Easton Spice has all the usual curry favourites cooked to perfection and an additional selection of Bengali cuisine. I have visited on numerous occasions and highly recommend the shaslick, shorshe and garlic chilli chicken. The excellent food is matched by welcoming and attentive staff. A must visit if local or visiting the area.

I've been going to and having takeaways from the Easton Spice since it opened and it was a very welcome sight when the signage first went up about its opening. I've eaten in all of the, so say, top rated Indians in Bath and since the first meal I had from here I've never gone back to anywhere else. The quality of the produce they use in their cooking is superb, especially the King Prawns and the Chicken - The Prawns are SO good! It's all Fantastic. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

We have just had the most fantastic curry from Easton Spice. Wonderful flavours, generous portions and beautifully presented. I am a curry addict and this is up there with one of the best take away curries I have eaten in a very long time. The whole family agreed. Very nice, helpful and polite staff. We will be back for sure.
