Although this is part shop and part restaurant, don't be put off by this. The welcome is warm and friendly, the food is individually cooked, and much of it is prepared on the premises, e.g. the Scottish salmon which is smoked there. Thoroughly recommended for either lunch or dinner.

Another enjoyable lunch, smoked salmon and broccoli tart both good starters. The braised beef was very tasty, finished with apple strudel.

Here we have a real gem where the chefs clearly have a passion for producing tasty food in a friendly atmosphere at a very reasonable price.

Our first visit to Curiously Kentish. Our friends Kate & Steve who live in Kent invited us along and we thorougly enjoyed the experience. You get to meet other foodies and the ambiance is just great as there is a limited number of people who can be seated around the table. Well done Chefs (Uncle and Nephew) and carrying on... More

Had a really good lunch here with a group of friends. All the dishes were freshly cooked and delicious. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food (I loved the Chorizo Hash) and will definitely go back soon - hopefully to try the Supper Club. . A lovely little restaurant with friendly and professional staff and an excellent chef.

I've always wanted to try a supper club and here is one not far from where I live! You do need to book well ahead as there's only room for about 20 people and it's held once a month, sometimes more (on a Fri or Sat). The staff/chefs are very friendly. Wine is provided in carafs (within the average charge... More

Spent a lovely evening enjoying the delights of a 5 course 'supper club' menu. Everything cooked superbly and tasted delicious- fresh ingredients and full of flavour. The starters and puddings were a particular highlight- lovely to try something new and different.

Went for Sunday Lunch which was superb. Lots of lovely salt marsh lamb, crispy roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding with a generous serving of fresh vegetables. In addition a jug of delicious gravy. My Husband had the chocolate brownies which he said were great and I had the homemade creme brûlée a real treat. This place is a real find... More
